For those unfamiliar, Teppanyaki is a style of dining where a group sits at a table that has a grill built into one side where the cook makes your meal in front of you and usually includes an entertaining performance. Be prepared to laugh, to drop your jaw at amazing stunts, and to fill your belly with some delicious food. POSITIVES: The decor is absolutely beautiful. From the moment I walked in, I was amazed with the cleanliness, the art pieces, and the general vibe of the restaurant. The hosts, servers, and cook are extremely friendly and were willing to accommodate us in our small requests. For example, my mother loves to order extra egg for the fried rice. We also requested a side cup of the salad dressing to dip our food in. Trust me when I say you need to try this.... THIS. TASTES. AMAZING. The steak was definitely the best choice, but you cannot go wrong with chicken, shrimp, or a combination. After briefly relaying the purpose for our visit (i.e. my mother's birthday), they surprised her with a song and free birthday ice cream! NEGATIVES: this isn't necessarily to the detriment of this business, but my stomach (like many others') is quite sensitive to asian food, so I spent a great deal of time in the bathroom immediately after I returned home. Also, the price is quite high, but you get a decent amount of food, plus great service/entertainment. PRICE: approx. $25-30 per person. VERDICT: I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a date night, a work party, or even a family celebration. If I could come here weekly (if my wallet was as thick as I am), I would. For now, I anticipate the next opportunity to indulge and treat myself to some quality Teppanyaki.

Wonderful food and a fun show!!! My first time (2/1/21) the chef was interactive and made jokes and had you catch the shrimp in your mouth and all the fun stuff and tricks you would hope for. The waiter even noticed our drinks and refilled them often. So this review reflects that experience. Today (4-14-21 the chef just cooked our food as a mute (he can talk, he asked how we like our steak) and didn't do any jokes or have any flair. He didn't even toss the egg into the air to crack on the spatula or have anyone catch a shrimp. It was a huge let down to have had so much fun on our first visit, only to get the same amount of show and experience I would expect from the All You Can Eat Chinese Buffet's Mongolian Grill down the road. To top it off the waiter completely forgot about us for an hour. I had to flag down another waitress to refill our whole table's completely empty drinks. He reappeared again after our meal to bus the table and bring dessert. So I'd say this place is 50/50 for me so far (although the other tables seem to have better shows and waiting service so we might just have the 2 man slacker team). Maybe find out which chefs are the style you enjoy (maybe some people prefer a no nonsense gimme my food approach) and ask for their table when you arrive and then go do something until the table is ready and they call you.

I had an incredible time dining here. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic experience. The food was nothing short of outstanding—every bite was packed with flavor, and their chicken was truly to die for. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection, it’s easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. They checked on us frequently, made thoughtful suggestions from the menu, and ensured that we never needed to ask for anything—they were already on it. One of the highlights of the night was watching our food being prepared right in front of us. The chef brought the kitchen to life with flair and energy, adding a fun, interactive twist to the meal. From tossing ingredients in the air to creating little bursts of flame, it was like dinner and a show rolled into one. The entire evening felt special, and it’s clear that everyone working here takes pride in what they do. Whether you’re going out with friends, family, or on a date, this place delivers a memorable experience. I highly recommend checking it out—it’s easily one of the best spots in town for great food, fantastic service, and a unique dining vibe.

The downfalls of or experience: Spilled our tables soup all over us.(dropped to the floor and got on our clothes and baby) Didn’t bother cleaning up our table or replacing our plates. Our table was still dirty and had left over rice from the previous party. Appetizers came out cold Hovered over the check making us feel rushed. Didn’t bring out food that we asked for our meal either. Wasn’t customer focus. Didn’t feel like everyone was “all there”. Wasn’t good at listening. (Women at our table said no eggs in their fried rice and the waiter never wrote it down to tell the cook, so when the cook was making the food he didn’t know that she wanted no egg, which made him look bad.) Price is high for an experience you can have better at a place called Benihana up in SLC.

Oh look another hibachi restaurant. It’s not like Utah hasn’t seen these before. If you’ve been to one then you’ve been to all of them. Same kind of style food with similar flavors. Nothing special, other than the chefs who perform as they cook for you.

Our first time there wasn’t the best and will be our last because let’s face it what’s so special about this hibachi place? NOTHING!!!

If you like the same over price meals that you find at any hibachi place then come on down. And if you just want a good day night idea then go for it.

If you want good japense food though don’t go. There are literally 9 better Japanese food all around there. (Prices vary, but all good in their little ways and much better food quality than this place.)

I dont usually write bad reviews, but I think this is important. Today I went in to eat with my family for my sisters birthday, and everything seemed fine, sevice was great, the chef was awesome. We had been in for dinner before, and loved it. About an hour or so after leaving, 4 out of the 5 of us got violently ill, while the 5th is nauseous. We all ate the same thing. Filet, salmon, fried rice and the soup/salad appetizers. My mom called and spoke to someone who didn't care at all and didn't even want to look into it, she said there was no way it was from the food. I called and the same thing happened, only this time I talked to a male. I explained to him I didn't want a refund I just wanted to inform him so others didn't get sick. He didn't even ask me what we ate. My mom is a registered nurse and is well aware the symptoms of food poisoning. Also I don't think its a coincidence that an hour after eating here we all got very sick. I work in the food industry myself and am aware of what causes food posioning. It could've been as simple as someone not washing their hands properly once, and just making our party sick, or a large batch of food being contaminated and making many others sick in addition to ours, either way it should be something management looks into, rather than acting like we were lying. We will never come here again because the management isn't willing to listen when there is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with. If management had listened, I would've come back because mistakes happen, but that just...
