Hillcrest Park — Attraction in Orem

The remodel of this park is amazing. Orem City is making me actually feel good about paying municipal taxes! This is a huge park with a ton of equipment to play on. There's a large tower with slides, a couple of newer toys, two large log structures, and a lot of grass space. And this is just phase one of the reconstruction. Once phase 2 finishes, it will be an excellent park for everybody. I'm glad this is close enough to me that I can easily take my kids there on a regular basis....

This is the second time being to this park and now the splash pad is open. It's very simple but it keeps the kids cool and the have fun. It's amazing how big this park is. It's big enough for us parents to chase our kids down the slides and up the jungle gym. Lots of different things for the kids to play on and to not get bored. I only noticed 1 water fountain by the pickle-ball courts, hopefully there's another one I just didn't see. But there's a large field for playing all...

Pickle ball, table tennis, 9 square in the air, splash pad, many climbing structures, slide, grass, swings and SHADE! This park appears to be a hidden gem. It has it all. I was thrilled when we arrived with dinner and found open pavilions, picnic tables and shade.
