Visited the Orem store a few weeks ago and really had a rough experience. After seeing some other reviews on here for the same location, it all makes sense. I understand owning a business and needing to make money. I dont understand taking a collectible TRADE-IN CREDIT from someone who valued it at $80 and offering $15 IN STORE credit and then telling the seller "the trade credit we give you is what ill sell it for on my floor". Biggest BS I have ever heard. If you are looking to sell ANYTHING, you can sell it for more on the corner of your street than if you take it here. The owner is very interesting as well... maybe he was having a bad day or just not very friendly... which I kinda got that vibe right off the bat. Was very blunt and acted like I was wasting his time. Do not take your collectible items here to sell unless you LITERALLY need a quick dollar. Ebay/online/ for god sakes even the redwood swap meets, you will get more for your goods. The West Valley location is a million times friendlier/professional and they don't take your pop protector off the Funko pop that they had already on the Funko sales floor and ask you "do you wanna purchase the dirty broken protector for $1.99 as well"? Like yea, let me pay double for a cheap broken SOFT pop protector that was on the pop I selected off YOUR sales floor. Thats like buying a video game, and then you go to pay for it, and they ask, "Do you wanna pay for the case that the game is in as well?" Lol, what a joke. Purchased over 30 single 4' funko pops priced below $30 each from the West Valley location and had pop protectors and never been asked that question. At least put a sign up IN THE STORE "POP PROTECTORS NOT INCLUDED WITH PRICE OF FUNKO POP". or at least have NEW protectors to put on for $1.99 at the time of checkout. Lol, come on, Orem store....

I recently Bought an entire Brilliant Star Booster Box here, Tons of Pokémon 151 and have done several trades for in store credit to get more things I want.
I have worked with Charles and Face (yes, his name is Face!) and they are both excellent and welcoming. They are always attentive and kind to not just me, but other customers who are there and shopping.
These guys told me a little about the ethical side of running a card shop, and their methods and reasoning behind pricing and acquiring product. Everything they’ve mentioned and talked about is what you WANT from a card shop. They aren’t nickel and diming people and blasting products to a sky high cost. They are fair, and great to work with.
Charles said they only get pokemon product straight from the manufacturer, and has been transparent about what things can be bought or sold for, and even threw in a slight % boost for in-store credit for some of my unwanted bulk that I brought in to trade.
They let you know about events and get-togethers for people that like to play Pokémon, Magic, and Tons of collectibles and comics! These guys know their stuff!
The Nerd Store is quickly becoming my fave card shop in Utah County!
They are quick to answer the phone if you call the store with questions as well.
I highly recommend checking out...
