This place is a classic example of american capitalist super-corporations finding creative ways to squeeze literally every penny out of your wallet, while giving you the illusion of relaxing island vibes by putting up a few surf posters and playing stock "island music". Its almost as bad as disneyland.
Exhibit A - look at the menu, when you "choose your protein" for your teriyaki bowl, you have to pay extra for any of the actual proteins. No, Tofu does not count as a protein, at least not in America, which is where we live last I checked.
Exhibit B - a side of fries costs more than half the cost of a meal itself. Can you still really call it a side? I mean we're one state down from Idaho you'd think we could get potatoes for a little cheaper all things considered.
Exhibit C - when you go to pay it asks you for a tip. It gives you the options 5%, 10%, %20, or custom amount. Wait a second, where is the option "no tip"? THERE ISN'T ONE! thats right, as if you haven't been ripped off enough already, you are practically forced into giving a tip. The only way to escape this shenanigan is to select "custom tip" and then enter $0.00. I mean what has the food industry come to, can companies no longer to afford to pay anyone a decent wage? How long is it until the customers are going to have to start tipping the waiters, cooks, cashier, janitor, dishwasher, janitors mother in law and everyone in the whole flippin store while these corporations sit on their piles of money?
Service was good Food was mid

Read moreReally disappointed at their handling of food allergies. I am gluten intolerant and so specified that on the ordering form for a catered lunch. When I arrived, the host said that food sensitive meals were on the side. I looked and they made all of the food sensitive meals to be the tofu option, as if all of the food sensitive meals were related to meat limitations. I raised it to the host and she said that the restaurant did this, even though they gave specific instructions to the restaurant. I checked and the tofu was not gluten free, so aside from me preferring the chicken option the tofu literally was not compliant with my dietary needs. Additionally, the meals all had teriyaki sauce, which is traditionally not GF, and after checking the allergen menu was correct in that assumption. Rumbi chose to ignore dietary limitations and if I hadn't checked would have had gluten in two of my items even though I asked for a gluten free meal. Eating out with dietary restrictions can be really complicated and scary, and it's incredibly disappointing when a restaurant disregards it and gives so...

OVERVIEW - 4.5 Came here for a quick bite as I was hungry and was out running errands.
LOCATION - 5 Rumbi has a real good location there along the busy University Parkway, and is easy to notice from a moving vehicle.
PRICE - 4 I'll be honest, I'm not too fond of the prices, and that's after considering that I was using the 2 for 1 app which offered a buy one entree plus a drink and get an entree free.
PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 Even though I was complaining about the price, the food was rather delicious. I had the Sweet Pork Salad. It was rather delicious. I should have asked for it without onions, but that was my mistake, as I was unaware that it came with onions.
POINTERS/PERKS - N/A I found a great deal as mentioned before with the 2 for 1 app, where I was able to get a great deal.
EMPLOYEES - 4 While they made a mistake on my pick-up order (they gave me someone else's order), they made things right. Although when I came back to pick up the correct the second order, the young man outside, appeared to be rather cold in...
