Roxberry Juice Co. — Restaurant in Orem

I have always loved Roxberry and the smoothies are ALWAYS fantastic, but I am extremely disappointed in the two girls working tonight... A guy that was already in there when I ordered, had a problem as well, he told the girls that the people who ordered after him got their smoothies before he did. 5 minutes after I ordered a couple came in and ordered, the place was not busy at all, and I had been waiting 20 minutes (one of the girls was cleaning this whole time instead of helping the other who was obviously struggling) the girl who had been making smoothies walked up and handed the couple their smoothies, I immediately went to the counter and asked if my order had been made and she showed me my smoothies sitting at the other side of the counter and apologized for not announcing they were done loudly enough (even though she took the smoothies straight to this couple) I asked her how long they had been sitting there and she visibly panicked and told me she had just set them down. If she was truthful in her first story then I am upset because she should have brought them to me or gotten my attention. If she was truthful about her panicked second story, I’m upset because she postponed my smoothies in order to make this other couple’s smoothies who ordered 5 minutes after me... both of these girls need some training to make sure they are doing the most they can to get orders out quickly and if they get smoothies done, they need to let the customer know! I was sitting in there for 20 minutes and was never told my order was ready, it was just set on the counter melting. I will definitely come back, but I will walk right back out the door if one of those two girls...

Bella impressed the hell out of me. I went in for a peanut butter crunch bowl, my favorite, and to surprise my wife with her favorite berry crunch bowl. When I arrived Bella seemed flustered and overwhelmed with stress. I wanted to just quickly get my order and take it to my wife and get back to work. But it took Bella over 3 minutes just to get to the register to take my order.🤬 I, just like most, would normally leave mad and just for good measure leave a bad review! But I just commented that she looked like she was needing help but the other employee called out sick or something and left her to take care of everyone waiting for their morning breakfast and wanting it now without excuses or complaints. It took 30 minutes!

Many people have experienced this similar situation. I just wanted to recognize Bella and let people know that when these young adults are able to stick it out, even and especially when it is hard and you start dialogue in your head about the way you want to quit and want to scream and share all your perceived injustices with anyone and everyone who will listen. Just remember life isn't fair and you probably won't get recognized every time you go above and beyond and work hard even when you think nobody is watching. I hope people will recognize a great employee when they see one and give them the recognition they deserve so they feel more encouraged to keep up the good work. Because I have been in business for many years, and I know great employees are hard to find these days. So when you find one treat them like you want to be treated for all your hard work. Whoever owns this place must be the most cheapskate penny pinchers ever! They only have one person working during the most busiest hours of the day. The poor girl working was not only having to take the orders for 15 different people, but make the drinks, answer the phone, and deal with a room full of angry rude people because of the wait time. She was going as fast as she could and just couldn’t keep up with it all. So I would recommend going to a different Roxberry so you don’t have to wait for an hour and listen to a room full of people verbally abuse the poor girl busting her butt alone. Oh, and not to mention, they were out of pineapple and two different juices And their protein bites and pretzel bites were disgustingly stale. God knows how long they were actually sitting there. They’ve also raised the price but reduced the size of their drinks and they have lids that don’t even fit the cup.
