Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Orion Charter Township

I used to go to tubby's often with my mother when we would do laundry we would stop by to get something to eat, is been many years since I've been to tubby's and this was the first time I was able to get there since I was a kid, the place was clean and the staff was in professional and friendly when I ordered it came fast, unfortunately it was absolutely disgusting, I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich, the steak was flavorless and a pale gray color, it was supposed to come with onion but I didn't see any onion at all but it did have lettuce if that's what you can call it the lettuce was a mushy stringy pile of Filth mesh together with some sort of sour sauce, the bun was clearly old and had become soggy in parts can partially stale in others, held entirely together by gummy cheese, extremely disappointed especially since I have such good memories of going to tubby's, and also because of how expensive these sandwiches have become over time, I'm willing to give it one more shot and hope that this was only an extreme one time issue that does not normally happen, and tubbys should be giving compensation for the disgraceful thing that I received they call food, but is unlikely. Driving by the place and was hungry so I stopped in. The manager took my order and the crew got to work and had my Philly quickly. The manger, Al, talked to me and wanted to know how I liked the sub, even asked me to call him back to let him know as I was a first time customer. Where in this country do you get service like that still? The sub was good, got the regular size, it was enough for lunch without stuffing me. I am guessing that is a normal portion size, no complaints there.

I thought the food was pretty decent my sub felt a little dry I got a grilled chicken one, I tried cheeseburger one and it was much better same with steak and cheese. Over all food was decent, service was exceptional all the boys working were so nice and professional! It is clean and kept nice in there all the tables are wiped up and ready! Wish there was some music in there or a little TV that you can watch while you eat but I am guessing most people do takeouts in this place. Over all a very pleasant...
