Can't believe it's not meat — Restaurant in Orland Township

I’ve tried and tried continuing to patronize this place. Never going back! Tonight came in to place my order Philly Cheese Steak, Philly Cheesesteaks Eggrolls. Cashier told me it’ll be 18 min before my order would be ready. So, with that said, decided to sit in my car because cashier told me they would page me. After waiting for sometime I decided to go in and ask was my order ready. Rude lil dude said he texted me. I told him NO you didn’t. While walking back to my car I get a page. As I’m driving home decided to eat and drive. The food was cold and bland! I tried calling however speaking to a live person is not an option. Guess what? I’m left with a $33.00 bill and nasty, cold bland food. As people of color we can never get it right! Bad service, bad food. Done! Sosa

Update: I would like to personally apologize and say Thank You- to the staff at Can’t Believe It’s Not Meat. After seeing my review the rude dude-Oh by the way he isn’t rude and in fact very professional. He gave me a call and apologize for my food being cold and not receiving the text. I would especially like to say Thank You to the manager who is undoubtedly the best manager ever. She is always professional and always make sure you’re happy with your meal. This place is 👏🏽POPPIN'👏🏽 The atmosphere, the aesthetic, the music, the food is amazing and has anyone mentioned that this business is woman owned? And Black owned? Because YES IT IS. How does it get any better than that?

Today I tried the Big Mik (with everything + real cheese) on a bed of scrumptious seasoned fries, a Chicago St hotdog and a strawberry homemade lemonade. The total was around $30. I waited in line for about 15min before I placed the order. The place was pretty packed which means everyone wants to eat here. ;)

I was blown away by the delicious flavours. All the ingredients are clearly fresh and all buns toasted to a buttery perfection.

The employees were working hard and were very focused on their work which I appreciated. Saw great team work too. While waiting, an employee walked in for their shift and they had the biggest smile on their face. Like c'mon now!! That speaks volumes. They made ME wanna put in an application!

Behind the workers you can see the oven for pizzas and a rack of straws and other supplies. Every surface was free of dust with all items arranged and organized.

Overall, this place is a great vegan/vegetarian joint and I will definitely be a frequent customer from here on out! If you're thinking about stopping by here just stop...

Ordered a Big Mik, with vegan cheese, online at 436pm. Order was to be ready until 506pm. I arrived at 507pm. Went in and told the security guard my name, he told me my order wasn't ready. I waited. And waited. And waited. He asked my name again, I told him. He says it's not ready. So I wait some more. By now, I've been at the restaurant for 30 minutes. That's a full hour since I placed my order. I asked the security guard, again... he asks what did I have this time. I tell him a Big Mik... he says, "with vegan cheese?" I reply, yes. How did he know I had vegan cheese on my burger? He says, "oh they're still working on it..." 5 minutes go by, and I opt for a refund. It took them 10 minutes to cancel my order. 10 minutes to issue a refund. After finally getting my order canceled, the security guard tells me that they gave my order to the wrong person. Instead of telling me that up front, they acted like my order, 1 single burger, wasn't ready yet. Needless to say, I'll never patronize this particular location. Will actually have to think twice about patronizing this establishment at all, this location or otherwise. They are extremely unorganized...
