Wow, is all I can say. Whether they are baking the bread in-house or not... There is no doubt that this is hands down the BEST banh mi bread I have ever eaten. Absolutely insane, how the loaf is perfectly balanced between this light, airy innard that is coated with a thin, crispy shell.. that all just melts with every bite. I have spent my entire week sampling highly rated "traditional" banh mi's (Thit Ngoui/Dac Biet) in the Orlando area and this so far is the absolute best I've had. Its a 10/10. The contents/filling of their Banh Mi Dac Biet were like a PERFECTLY composed symphony playing all the right notes at the right time. Each bite yielded the presence of every ingredient in the sandwich: the meats, the pickled carrots, the fresh veggies, the pate and spread. No ingredient overtook the other and the result left me wanting to order a second sandwich. Well done Bamita.
As for the atmosphere, it's located right at the forefront of the supermarket. It's a small shop about the size of a food truck. The service was friendly and quick, it did not take long at all to receive my banh mi. Don't be completely fooled with the friendly service cause I promise that sandwich is...

My partner and I went to shop at Phuoc Loc Tho and found this banh mi place. I was already impressed with the amount of options you get for your bread. I'm personally not a fan of banh mi on a baguette like how Paris Banh Mi does it down the street, however you can opt for a traditional roll for your bread. We both got banh mi thit nuong on the 3 dao bread, and the bread was incredible. In terms of just the bread, this is probably the best banh mi you'll find in Orlando.
However there was only one thing I wasn't a fan of, and that's the thit nuong (grilled pork). It wasn't grilled or charred, and it didn't have the typical pork marinade you would find in other Vietnamese restaurants. Instead the meat was heavily seasoned with lemon grass and clashed with the other toppings. I think if you go with the banh mi dac biet (cold cut), it'd taste much better.
Besides that everything was great. I had my sandwich with nuoc mia (sugar cane juice) with a little kumquat which made the drink taste even better. I'll be back to try out...
Read moreThis might become my new go-to banh mi spot! Ordering was quick and easy, service was friendly, and it only took 5 or so min to get each sandwich. Their fresh baked bread is amazing, like a crispy cloud, and all toppings/condiments were delicious and applied in the correct amounts. The grilled pork was flavorful and tender with no gristle, and the meats in the special combination were all top quality (they even add pork floss as a standard topping, which is a nice touch)! The only issue with this place is there isn’t any real seating area, so be prepared to take your food to-go. Also, I ordered my sandwiches with no jalapeño, but they added jalapeño anyways. Normally I would remove a star for a mistake like that, but when there is a language barrier (the people working here only spoke a minimal amount of English), I try to be more forgiving. And, considering that removing the jalapeño was a very simple operation, it didn’t really impact me...
