We went here last night for our 7 p.m. reservations with a party of 9. 5 adults and 4 children. When we got there the host was super friendly and explain that it will be a 20 to 30 minute wait. We ended up waiting until about 8 p.m. for a table which is a whole hour. I understand because I work in casual dining and I began as a host and now I'm a server so things like that is sometimes out of the employees control. Since we waited an hour for our table we already knew what we wanted to order. When we were greeted by our server he took our drink orders and food orders that was at about 8:05 p.m. We did not get our food until 9 o clock! When we asked our server what was the hold up for our food he said that one of the steaks were ordered well done and it takes 27 minutes to cook a well done steak. That is unheard of!! 27 minute ticket time is not acceptable at a casual dining restaurant period point-blank(At Least The One Im At). When we got the food it was hot and the food was tasty all except for the well done steak was a cooked a little hard. But my family had taken so long to eat that none of us really felt well anymore so couldn't really fully enjoy the whole meal. All of the kids could only eat half of their food and it's a little disappointing because we came out as a family to celebrate my 10 year old birthday as well as my aunts 51 birthday. People come to spend money so they can have fun and although we ended up spending well over $150 I feel like we only got $75 worth of service. The server wasn't horrible but he wasn't the best I felt like he could have been a little attentive more and he also could have left the food facts to himself. Four teenagers don't want to hear how long it takes for a steak to cook when they're hungry and it was kind of a slap in the face but nevertheless it's not his fault because he isn't cooking or or seating the guest. I'm not going to say his name because it's not that serious but I just felt like he could have been just a little bit more attentive we had a big party he checked on this about 3 times in an hour and a half that we were sitting at the table. He came back more often when he dropped off the check which makes sense because he has to collect his tip. I always wanted to go to BJ's but next time I go I just won't take my family I'll just go with my husband and maybe that can make the experience a little better. The good things I can say about the restaurant however is that is not super loud like a bar but not super formal like a suit and tie restaurant. It's somewhere you can take your kids as well as your spouse if he wants to watch the game. It was really clean and bright and the food was good. The host we pleasant and wr were thanked for coming. All the staff seemed calm and collected. No one seemed like they we're flustered and they all made eye contact and...

My Parents and i came to eat at the Conroy location on christmas eve Dec 24th of 2024 2 hours before the closing time. The plan was to have some dinner before our long drive home but what we weren’t expecting was dinner and a show! As soon as we came in through the doors and were waiting to get checked in with the host, we were greeted with the character of Manager Shannon. As the host is checking us in Shannon decides to come over and yell at the host, yelling that the way he was seating the guests was wrong and that he only had 4 servers and that the people waiting will have to wait. Now coming from a family where we have all served at restaurants, it is definitely something we understand, though i don’t think in all of my years of restaurant service, have i seen any of my managers say this out-loud in front of waiting guests. Anywho, even though his manager just embarrassed him in front of the waiting guests, we got seated pretty quickly, (shoutout to the host, we couldn’t get his name) and were greeted by our amazing server Gabe!!! We loved him, handling all his tables with such grace and poise amid the christmas eve rush! We had a great time with him! While eating our food our entertainment made his way to the table across from us, this table, which seemed to be a family enjoying each others company, laughing it up and having a great time. Shannon decided to walk over and let them know that he had a table waiting over 45 mins for their table and they needed to be seated! He asked them if they could please get up and leave the restaurant (at least he said please!), not very holiday spirit of him. My family and i couldn’t believe our eyes, all we could do was laugh with each other and the shocked family as they left. It seemed that Shannon had places to be as we watched in awe as he scurried and ran around to the surrounding tables pointing at his watch, prolly kicking out others as well! Looks like we will never know! To conclude my review, i would like to state that i never do things like this and this is actually my first time writing a review, but coming from a restaurant background i just had to put this out there! Anyways shoutout to Gabe, his manager could learn a lot from him and his...

I received a gift card to this restaurant out and was given ranting and ravings reviews from someone who works at a different location, so I decided to try it out when I was in the neighborhood. I ordered a soup and dessert online and when I went in the restaurant, my dessert was ready, but I was informed that they were out of my soup. The lady who helped me said that another girl ‘may have tried to call me’ but she wasn’t sure. (I hadn’t received any calls between the time I ordered and the time I arrived at the store). The employee offered to get me a different soup that I agreed upon and disappeared into the kitchen. A few minutes later, they reappeared and said that the kitchen had now threw away all of the soups and that she could give me a discount back on the gift card. I was fine with that and was waiting to get a receipt or something just in case the return took a while to get back on the card, but she assured me it would be back on moments later and did what I assumed was the refund. I’ve waited over almost a week and have not seen the return, so I called back today (I don’t live in this area and figured dealing with the actual store I visited would be best). So far I have been given the run around and promised to have a manager call me and nothing happen, transferring me to manager lines that hang up shortly after, etc. It’s not even about the money, but the principle is that this was my trial with the company (or at least this location) and it’s not leaving a good impression. I’m lucky I didn’t use my own money yet or run a larger tab since I truly believe my money may go missing and I’ll be given the run around again. I was super excited to have a new grub spot, but I don’t want to be concerned whether I’ll get what I paid for while I’m trying to enjoy my food and have a good time. So...

In the hustle and bustle of probably the busiest areas in the Millennia area, there is BJ's! The moment you walk through the turnstile doors you forget about all the traffic and are instantly graded by super nice staff!!I'm not sure who was nicer the one who created us as we walk in the door or the one who seated us. I got settled into our socially distant seats and we're greeted by Danica, she introduced herself as our server for the evening and was very attentive. She suggested some cocktails and went over extensively with my husband's love for stouts and Porters!!. She was very knowledgeable. for those who know my post know that I am seeking I think every possible flavor of Martini on the planet, and I got the Pink Cadillac. It was good a bit too sweet but what do you expect when you read the yummy ingredients but still was good!! The hub's got a porter that Danica suggested and he said it was really good. I wish I had written down what he got so I could put it here. I ordered the Nashville hot because those who also know me know that I love anything Nashville hot, and my husband got a chicken sandwich they were both amazing. I opted for brussel sprouts as my side dish, another addiction I have!!! They were really good. My husband's french fries were cooked to perfection! I was most impressed with Danica's knowledge of every menu item, I had asked for additional Nashville hot sauce and she warned me that it would take just a bit as it was butter-based and they had to melt the butter and actually make it from scratch. That was impressive, to me. We glance at the dessert menu and it was quite mouth-watering but we declined. We will definitely be back!

We had a great dinner at BJ’s Restaurant today! We walked in and were instantly seated (not busy at all at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night), and within a minute our waitress - Danica - came to take our order! I’d first like to praise Danica for being an excellent waitress! She was happy, smiling, and made us feel right at home despite it being our first time visiting. She gave us her recommendations, even suggested portion sizes, and gave great choices! We were going to order 4 appetizers to share, but once I said 3 of them, and we were debating on getting a fourth, she suggested we start with the 3 because they were huge portion sizes and she thought it would be plenty. Well, she was right! She definitely deserves a raise! 😄 We ordered the nachos, mozzarella sticks, root beer boneless wings, and then for dessert got the salted caramel pizookie. The nachos were MASSIVE - literally like two feet in diameter!! But they were super good and we’d definitely get them again. They were exactly what you’d expect for nachos. The mozzarella sticks and the root beer boneless wings were our favorites. The mozzarella sticks were some of the best we’ve ever had! And the root beer boneless wings actually tasted somewhat like root beer! Never had anything like it - definitely a must-try!! The dessert was easily one of the best cookie/ice cream desserts we’ve ever had as well. The salted caramel was SO GOOD. We also had a sparkling raspberry lemonade and an Arnold Palmer. All in all, no complaints about anything! Great food, great service, great timing, great atmosphere, great everything! We will be returning! 😊

So the staff at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse are all extremely kind and very helpful. They do a fantastic job of making the atmosphere of this restaurant very welcoming. This review though is really more or so my way of helping this particular restaurant address an ongoing issue with its landscaping. You have a Mexican Fan Palm that is deceased and look like it was killed due to a result of disease exposure, either Palm Weevil or Lethal Bronzing could be the culprit. When this restaurant has the budget to remove and replace this deceased palm, I’d like to recommend two species that would be easier to take care of and would be less likely to suffer from rot and disease exposure such as a Bismarck Palm or Chinese Fan Palm. In addition to this, the contributing reason as to why this palm and the previous palms you had behind the building all died is because by over-pruning them to the extent you did, you actually made them more vulnerable to disease. If you did not over-prune the palm shown above at the end of last year, it probably would still be alive. So should you choose to get a brand new palm please make sure you DO NOT prune it unless the fronds are brown, there’s no good reason why green fronds should be cut off of your palm tree, or else you will eventually kill them like the photos shown above.
