IKEA Restaurant — Restaurant in Orlando

We came here a couple of times in February 2018. The Swedish American breakfast is very tasty and extremely affordable. They have also installed a coffee machine that makes cappuccinos and lattes, and those are really nice, but they come out lukewarm. After the machine is done you have to go around to the other side and stick the cup into the microwave. Even so, it's still better than pretty much anything you can get at Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts for any price. They also still have the standard coffee they've always had, which is still pretty delicious, still very hot, and also still better than anything you can get at the fast food/beverage chains. Add to that the fact that coffee is free between 9:30 and 10 and it's going to be a while before you set foot in one of the fancy coffee chains. i’d first like to start with the positives. the Portions are large which is great you get a lot for the price we got two of the chicken tender with fry meals but both had left overs so we definitely could’ve shared just one. where my disappointment began was their drink fountain was out of order due to renovations… the renovations made the atmosphere of the café a little less than desirable. it was very dark there were no lights turned on only natural light from the large windows which go girl save that energy but it was a little dark. my main complaint is that they didn’t have the pear soda😢 THATS ALL I CAME THERE FOR THE STUPID PEAR SODA BUT THE MACHINE WAS OUT...

If anyone is considering a home project during the virus, I am super impressed with IKEA’s “Click and Collect” system. We did our entire order online, and when we got the email that it was ready for pickup, went to the store and expected to just run in to the service desk. Instead, they had a much better setup.

The spaces are alternated so you aren’t close to any other customers, and the employee meets you at your car (from a safe distance) to get your name and order number, and then they wheel out everything on a cart to you. Even when I signed for the order she had gloves on, and everything was very thought through, efficient and safe....
