Planet Smoothie — Restaurant in Orlando

When the smoothies are good, this place is honestly a solid 4.5 stars.

So why 2 stars? Inconsistency.

Despite the extensive menu, I suspect that they do not actually write down recipes for any of their smoothies. Either that or they do not adequately train their employees to follow these recipes because several times now this location in particular has failed to make their smoothies consistently. Sometimes they're extremely icy, or ratios will be off between ingredients between orders. I mean, measuring cups exist, right?

This morning, the Chocolate Elvis I ordered had way too much cocoa powder and barely any peanut butter, meanwhile the PB&J I ordered with no bananas had what tasted like extra bananas and no peanut butter.

Oh, and the icing on top? You can't change any ingredients on Uber Eats, and this applies to any Planet Smoothie location you order from. So if you want to roll the dice at maybe, just maybe getting a good smoothie, then I recommend...

Yesterday I had the worst experience I ever had at a planet smoothie. The service was ridiculous; when I first walked in, no one acknowledged me. The young lady at the register was polite, but the other two lacked customer service experience. Once I ordered my pb blues, the young lady that made it brought it to the counter and said “here you go” and dropped it on the counter. I told here “thank you “ and she never responded. Once she walked away, she went to the deep freezer, sat on top of it, placed her feet on top of it and went to playing with her phone!!! It was unreal!!! The smoothie was so disgusting that I had to throw it away; it didn’t taste like a pb blues at all. I’ll NEVER go back to that...

This was my first time going into Planet Smoothie I personally did not purchase anything for myself as I had already eaten lunch. However my daughter devoured her smoothie saying how delicious it was. Please note we both ate at the same restaurant and she elected to take her lunch home to save room for her Planet Smoothie drink. I didn't give 5 stars only because the staff present on this day. Was more interested in their personal conversations than waiting on the customers. My daughter taste and likes are similar to mine, so I feel comfortable giving a 4 star. Simiply because your children learn from your influences, and I would never sacrifice taste or quality in my meals...
