I was staying at the hotel next to this Friday's restaurant the bartenders with very nice I went there once or two times a day one day I walked up to my room with my cocktail in the glass (which is connected to the Fridays). The next day I went again for lunch to order drinks and food for me and my family this young bartender inexperience has said to me you cannot take these glasses to your room I apologized and said I go get the glasses that I did take from The Establishment because I was not done with my cocktail I even asked a bartender and they said no problem Gabby repeated herself like I was not able to hear her and I said I already heard you thank you I will go get your glasses right now. She says to me in my face you need to go get those glasses The Fridays chain must spend maybe pennies on glasses they were very important to this restaurant. I go back the next day to talk to the manager to return the glasses and let them know that Gabby told me to go eat somewhere else like Miller's which is right down the road no offense prices are better food is better this Friday was very convenient for the hotel I thought that since the restaurant was attached they would do room service and stuff like that evidently they don't and their glasses are the most important things to them more than customerswhen returning the glasses I want to talk to Kareem and he barked at me and said you're f not allowed to take the glasses from the room like I haven't heard that 3 or 4 times already the glasses I do not want what I wanted to have some cocktails in my hotel room out of a glass I don't know if Friday is or this particular store has ever heard the customer's always right because they were very combative with me they were obnoxious Kareem the assistant manager would not give me the name of the general manager nor his district manager I guess he had something to hide but he wasnt very rude to me. He's stuck up for the employee who demanded the glasses back NOW this is two pint glasses for a corporation like Fridays Play purchase glasses by the case for them I think it was a racist thing the 20 year old bartender Gabby was extremely rude now why they want to stick up for glasses instead of saying politely man you really can't take these back to your room I kind of give you a to-go cup for your drink. I am in my 50s I've been staying at this hotel for 2 weeks I have earen Fridays at least once a day since I've been here but since I took glasses to my room they would like me not tto eat there anymore add the African-American assistant manager told me to leave the store while I was returning the glasses for them to treat a customer rudly over glassware. Really threw me for a loop customer service at the store is obsolete I think they need a lesson in customer service especially since they are across the street from universal studios I'm sure the tourists that go to the store find their attitude terrible so the bottom line is never take a glass from this Fridays don't return the Glass to this Friday's and go eT at MILKERS AKLLEHÛTcuz that's what Gabby told me to do I wonder why they left the store open maybe they need to close it like they did the other Fridays I'm extremely floored by their actions I'm shocked by Friday's training program for customer service both those people must have missed that class and DEFINITELY need a...
Read moreOur party of 4 just left a few minutes ago and I’m very disappointed in the manager on duty tonight. Our waiter Justin was great he took our orders, made sure we consistently had drink refills and check on us often all while also being behind the bar area. My issue is that I ordered a steak medium and the first time it came out it was well done. I made him aware and he apologized and took it to be remade. The second steak came out a little while later and when I cut into this one it looked the same as the first. Again I made them aware and after we agreed that one was also well done I was told they would remake it and the manager would personally make sure it came out correct. Awhile later and after everyone in my party had finished their food a third steak was brought to me by who I assumed was the manager. She never introduced herself she simply placed it on the table and said something about it being my remake and walked away. Normally and in most places when your order is made incorrectly more then once the manager will atleast take a moment to wait and let you check that it is correct. Unfortunately that seemed above the service standard that she was willing to give. After she walked away I cut into my steak and once again it was well done. At this point the rest of my party is finished eating the kids are tired and we are all ready to go. The woman who was later identified as the manager passed our table several times after that point never bothering to check whether the food she supposedly took ownership of was correct. In fact it bordered on purposely ignoring us. Our waiter came by again to check on us and when I showed him the third steak again apologized for it not being correct. At this point he asked if I wanted to try something else but we just asked for our checks. Between the time it took us to get our checks, pay our bill and get ready to leave at no point did the manager stop by to address the situation or apologize for the inconvenience. In all honesty she seemed to have chosen irritation and avoidance. I was more disappointed with her attitude, lack customer service and leadership skills than I was with the kitchens mistake. If what we experienced from her tonight was a reflection of how she manages I can see why there was a disconnect between what I ordered and what I got. At no point should a customer who is simply trying to get their meal rectified feel like they are inconveniencing you as a manager and if a person feels that way perhaps a customer facing managerial position...
Read moreFrom beginning to end, it was NR, zero stars. I am not returning to this location and very clise to not dining at another location ever. It was terrible. At the beginning, two hostesses were talking and felt interrupted. One never turned to face us. We were taken to a table. One fork was open. It took 13 mins to get a waitress. We were about to leave. The waitress came to get drink, and appetizers order. I grabbed a fork from the adjoining table since one was opened on our table. The two hostesses came and one slammed a replacement fork on the table. I immediately had to say excuse me ladies three times just to get them to stop. I said here is an open fork kit. She smiled and said thank you. It was genuinely fake. So then a party of six was seated and had to be moved because they were squeezed in tighter than a can of sardines. Another party of six cane and no one cane to them and the man told his family they were leaving because 10 minutes was long enough. Behind us, a party of four got up and left without food. The first party of six that changed tables were given burnt ribs that were sent back. Our table food for 3 (table of 4) as my son shared with his grandmother took 45 mins for two playes to come out. My plate took an additional 15 minutes, so, an hour. When it arrived, it was burnt and stank from being burned. I stopped this Black gentleman and asked him who was the manager and the corporate number. He told me he was. I showed him my plate and he took it back.
