You're given 30 minutes with a locker for free, so place my phone and battery charger in it. I rejoin the queue and when I get to the front I then get stopped again and sent back out as I'd left the cable for my phone in my pocket. I rejoin again, and get sent back out, as they'd now said nothing in pockets and I have change I'm my pockets. All these interactions and re-queueing meant that I then ate into my free time. This is not properly advertised anywhere and something that their competitors disney excel at, as even if you have to use a locker, as they don't want you to damage any of your items they will provide a free one throughout the duration of the ride, no matter how long that be. Read moreI have seen this park through many iterations and every one is them has been great. Universal and Disney together made up great memories in my childhood and as I got older I slowly ended up spending more time at universal then I did at Disney.
This turn of events is due to cost versus values for purchases. Overall customer experience from hotel to restaurant to park and even dealing with other guests. It has to do with affordable premium offerings like Annual passes and vip tours. Then just a personal preference for the Universal experience over the disney experience. Occasionally, I dip a toe back into the disney pool, but im always jumping head first into the Universal experience. I do Halloween horror nights yearly and recently discovered the fun of mardi gras at the park. Universal is unmatched and I look forward to seeing the park...
