I’ll just start by saying: Chipotle has a great rewards program where you earn 10 points for every $1 spent. However, I’ve noticed that at certain locations, my rewards points don’t always get applied, so it’s important to keep an eye on that.
The reason I’m writing this review is because I had a little hiccup while trying to redeem my reward points. I ordered two entrées but was accidentally charged for three (or so I thought). With a long line forming behind me, the situation started to feel pretty stressful. I asked for the manager, and when she came out with a smile, I immediately felt more at ease.
She couldn’t put my points back but kindly asked what I’d like her to do to resolve the issue. I simply asked for the third entrée I was charged for. Without hesitation, she started making it. While she was working on it, I noticed that the points for the third entrée were actually still sitting in my cart. I let her know right away, but she wasn’t worried about it and still gave me the entrée.
What could’ve been a frustrating experience turned into a positive one, thanks to the manager’s professionalism and quick action. She was absolutely amazing, and I truly appreciated how she...
Read moreHELD CAPTIVE! They need to figure out their Mobile Pick Up Lane. Placed my order on their app. Got there about 5 minutes before the time the app said it would be ready. There was about 4 cars ahead of me. By the time I got my food, I had sat there in the lane for over an hour. While I waited, stuck in the pick up lane, they cleared the walk in order line 3 times. Another baffling thing. I would have left and contested the charge on my credit card bill but I was held captive in the single lane drive through. I don’t know if they can work out the glitch since you order online, you agree to a suggested pick up time, then get in line with a bunch of other people. What I don’t get is what happens if my food is scheduled to be ready at 7:15 and I happen to get in line in front of someone who’s food is scheduled to be ready at 7:00. I don’t know, but the drive through mobile pick up lane...
Read moreThis was our first trip to Chipotle it's been at the Oroville location for over a year I think, we got a gift card to go there. It's kind of like a Panda Express or as the attendant said a Mexican Subway in which you assemble a burrito or a bowl by picking out your items, starting with white or brown rice black or pinto beans and an assortment of condiments including salsa sour cream and guacamole. I didn't think it was that tasty, I picked up a carne asada bowl, and I think I should have had the burrito. It was just okay not terribly tasty, fast service but there was nobody there that day, an alternative to a lot of other drive-thru Style Foods but I think Taco Bell was much better, as are others, including a lot of taco trucks... oh , those lovingly chafted chips tasted ok but were mostly a handfull of broken fragments suitable to make a taco salad but not...
