UPDATE
When this business first moved to its own location on Feather River Blvd, it was really good. A little expensive but quality, worth a 5 star rating. It has slowly declined over the last year. Now the best you can expect is to pay $8 for a burrito that is under filled with cold poorly reheated and gross meat, and stale potatoes, rice, beans..etc. today was the last straw. I ordered a California burrito, the burrito was cold to the touch even through the bag. The French fries were probably from the night before, cold and stale. The meat had to have been cooked sometime last week and wasn't even reheated enough to melt the cheese. This burrito used to be about 30% larger at the same price. Now you get a large chunk of cold tortilla the first and last couple bites. And now I hear they are opening a second location in Oroville?! I can't even imagine a reason for me to ever revisit this restaurant, which is a shame because I was a twice a week customer when they were still a good business.
Would be 5 stars if they were consistent. More often than not lately, you never know what you're going to get. Either your food will be fresh and amazing, or old, cold and disgusting. Today it was the latter. And to top it off, the young girl working the drive thru was smug and disinterested in helping customers. After repeating my order 3 times, she still managed to get it wrong. There was no one in line before us and yet it took 23 minutes to get our food. It pains me to leave a negative review because this place used to be really good. Hopefully it's just growing pains and they'll be back on...
Read moreThe food here is really good. The Blended coffees are really good but also kind of pricey. Pretty much everything I've had has always tasted really delicious. I like the creativity of the menu and you can't beat the hours they are open. Not to mention they are located in an awesome spot close to where I live and not very far from the bar a drink at. I believe they are an offshoot of La Esmeralda which was also a great place. Please add the chimichanga from LA smeralda to the menu! couple of times when I've made my order they forget to add my extras or whatever. The girl with the piercings on her dimples, forgive me for not knowing her name, is a real sweetheart and really pleasent most of my friends would also agree.. I always like to see a friendly face when I get my food.. don't know why I've just always been that way There is another girl there that kind of has an attitude problem and is really snappy. I only eat here when nothing else is open simply because the value isn't very good. You spend a lot of money on some of the burritos and their sizes are always inconsistent. One day you'll get a decent sized burrito the next time it will be small. Even when they're decent size if it's during the daytime you could get a burrito that's half again the size for $6.50 at the red burrito truck. Come on we all know size matters when you get a burrito. Especially when you're an offshoot of a place that is known for their...

I find it ironic that you smear off the end of your message with a facade for etiquette when you start off a food review bashing the weight of the worker who works there. Her weight is an irrelevant detail and an accidental slip-up on your true intentions. As a regular customer of the exact Bulldog Express location you’re referring to, I know of the employee whom you speak of and she wears a mask each and every time I come through. Between your callous choice of words and for the fact that each and every one of your reviews on your profile is 1 star, I advise anyone reading Molly’s review to take them with a heavy hand of salt.
You started off a FOOD review judging the WEIGHT of the worker right off the bat. How are potential customers supposed to believe anything of which you have to say when you simply could be discriminating against her for her weight?
If I start off my complaint to a McDonald’s manager with “that overweight girl,-“ what does that tell you about where my intentions lie? Isn’t my complaint supposed to be about the food? Why would her weight factor into anything I’m trying to say unless I specifically prioritize her weight, and I’d only ever prioritize her weight if I had intentions to discriminate?
Molly’s reviews are unreliable.
