I have never had any issues with this location and for the most part, this spot is a 5-Star location; however, I had a very unusual situation today. I typically go to the drive thru, but today my car was in the shop so I ordered through DoorDash for breakfast (After 9:30, so initial breakfast rush is over.) I ordered a Chicken Biscuit with pepperjack and egg added and paid around $5 for that sandwich. The whole order ended up being roughly 20$ before DD fees and charges; when I received the order, the biscuit was um... missing the chicken. Just had egg and cheese.
I immediately reported it to doordash, and they gave me a $2 credit...Since I manage QSR establishments, I know Door Dash does NOT communicate with the store when there is an error, so I wanted to call and at least give them a heads up. The manager on duty answered the phone and was not at all Client-focused like most CFAs. I explained the details, she wanted to look up the order to make sure I didn't order a Egg and Cheese, and then from there she literally said these words, "Well, since its DoorDash, it isn't our fault." And went on explaining to me how to get a refund. When I told her that I received a 2$ credit for it, she said, "Oh okay." then I said "for a 5 dollar sandwich." and there was just silence. Eventually I knew this was going no where and my satisfaction wasn't relevant, so I explained to her that I just wanted the team to know that little mistakes happen, but missing the protein on the sandwich is kind of a big deal. She told me okay and she'd let the team know.
In the past, in Hattiesburg MS and Memphis TN, if there was an error with an order, the client was always right, and then someone from the store would DRIVE a correct order to the client. I just felt a little... shrugged off since I wasn't an in person customer. Maybe work on a BLAST effort, Believe, Listen, Apologize,...
Read moreVery first visit to a Chik-fil-A, and it was very disappointing. Very. How did this place become so popular, I wonder. One - ONE pickle slice and a very non-crispy AND FATTY chicken patty, and it didn't look good - it was extremely dark and patchy in appearance. Temperature was not right.
They didn't put any sauce on the sandwich, as requested, and that was after I specifically asked if they would add sauce. The clerk stated, "We don't put sauce on ordinarily, but we can put anything on that you want." But nope - sauce packets were only placed in the bag. Then there was the quality of that sauce: It was ... of weird texture. It was coagulated and did not pour out. It was nothing like Chik-fil-A sauce from the grocery store.
The nuggets were also mushy and luke-warm.
Keep in mind I went in right at lunch hour. The place was packed. How did I get old food?!
The staff was pleasant, and service was fast. That's why it gets two stars instead of one.
Overall miserable - and fairly expensive - experience. Hard to see going there again, when Popeye's has...
Read moreI recently visited Chick-fil-A and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the food was enjoyable and satisfying, the seasoning on the chicken wasn't quite up to my expectations - I would rate it a 9.8/10. Additionally, the restaurant itself wasn't as well-maintained as I had hoped - there was a lot of urine near the urinal, and many of the tables had crumbs or trash on them. While I understand that accidents happen, it's important for restaurants to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for their customers. Finally, the employee I interacted with wasn't as friendly as I had hoped - they didn't say 'my pleasure' at the end of our interaction. While I understand that everyone has off days, I was disappointed that the service didn't quite live up to Chick-fil-A's reputation. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Chick-fil-A, but it may be worth trying if you're looking for a quick meal and don't mind a less-than-perfect...
