Update: it’s been five days and I still haven’t received my money in my bank account. I called the restaurant prepared to be all upset, but they were very kind and really helped smooth things over and are going to deliver my pizza and they gave me a credit. I would not recommend the corporate customer service, but the store customer service is good.
Last week I placed an order. I was feeling under the weather and I didn’t wanna get the rest of my family sick so I ordered Pizza Hut through the app. I got the confirmation. I’m about 45 minutes later I was told door dash would be picking up my order and delivering it. About 15 to 20 minutes later I got a text from The DoorDash worker with a picture showing the sign on the door, saying the store was closed for maintenance. I called the store and there was no answer. I called the other Pizza Hut in town and they told me they had no affiliation. I tried calling corporate and they have no customer service person. The money was charged to my account. So I’m trying to deal with this on top of Hangry kids, on top of feeling sick. I filled out every survey I could letting corporate know what happened. I heard back from Wendy. She said they’re trying to get the store in order and she asked if I would accept a credit. I decided to go ahead and give them a chance. A few days past and I decided to go use my Pizza Hut credit and guess what? the store was closed again! I sent an email to the corporate lady telling her I wanted my money back right away. She emailed me the next day saying I needed to call the store and talk to somebody about getting a refund. I should not have to jump through 1 million hoops to get my money back for a product that was not delivered. Read moreMe and two other people came here on 12/21/15 after a movie. We walk in and the waitress doesn't come out right away and when she finally does, instead of seating us she says "why are you here," thrown by the response I didn't say anything. When we finally get seated she brings us our drinks; mind you those are the only things enjoyable of our visit. We ask if there are any deals and instead of telling us them she goes "oh so you mean specials?" I was like "yes". She proceeds to walk away and come back with a cue card of things that she is supposed to tell every customer which on the top of the card says this. She hands us her cheat sheet and walks away. We finally order a large pepperoni pizza, simple, right? No. When we get the pizza it is beyond greasy, to the point that when you picked it up the pizza literally fell apart and on our plates there were puddles of grease. The pizza itself was so poorly made. There was more cheese than sauce and the crust itself wasn't fully cooked. The taste of the pizza was like two day old cold pizza that you warmed up and then let sit for a bit before eating it but worse. I have never had worse pizza from a Pizza Hut in my life. To make matters worse the next day all three of us were sick and vomitting and the only thing that all three of us ate that was the same was, believe it or not, Pizza Hut. I am so overly disappointed by this experience and the quality of the staff and the food. The staff seemed like they hardly have anyone ever come inside to eat and don't seem fully trained to be waitresses. I mean to hand me your cue card on things you are supposed to ask customers is a little pathetic. Read moreFirst time ordering from here the other day. It asks you were the person should set the pizza when you come pick it up for curbside. I instructed to put it on my passenger side. The guy rudely brought it over to the driver side. I advised him that I mentioned in the app, I said passenger side. He opened the door, basically threw the food on the seat without care, it slid about. Then he barely closed my door. He had to come back and open and close my door again. He wasn't very friendly at all. I'm so sorry for inconveniencing you, dude.
Tonight, we tried ordering on the app. It charged our card, but then the app was stuck. It was spinning and spinning. I called the store to ask what's up. The lady said she'd check, I sat on hold with their same 15 second loop music, messaging and the chick never came back. I waited on the phone for 8 minutes while she was checking it out. I called back again to talk to someone else, a guy this time and he was going to transfer me to the manager after I asked for the manager. He had me on hold for over 6 minutes.
