Horrible service, seems that the servers at this place are pretty much racists. And it’s pretty funny because they are working at a place where a jalapeño is a logo, where fajitas and tortilla chips are served with guacamole.
I really don’t like to go to this place because what is served here I can cook it at home with a better taste without all the over spicy condiments but my daughter chose this horrible place to have dinner for her birthday. Well we got there we waited over five minutes for the hostess, as soon we were sat I felt like if I were in a can of sardines, they have the tables almost one after other, we were sitting there several minutes, all the servers went to sang their happy song two tables away from us, the family sitting next to us finished their dinner got up and leave, hostess cleaned table and a server wiped the table latter on a family were sit, the Afroamerican server quickly told them that she’ll be shortly with them, while she was serving the table across them, five minutes later a male server approached to the family and tells them that he will not be their server but if there’s anything that he could bring in to drink. Wow, wow REALLY??? We have been sitting there for over 15 minutes getting completely ignored for all this bunch of incompetent racist servers, or are they just lazy to do their job?
Well, before all this we already were thinking to leave because we never have to have waited for so long. but definitely after we heard that, we got up and walked away. The hostess kindly said something like thanks for coming have a great night and I kindly replied to her Thank you for the service, we didn’t get any. We’ll never try again this place the managers were just walking around like their incompetent servers and they are not caring about how their lazy servers are doing their job. We leave this place and went to LongHorn Steakhouse and WOOAAH! HUGE difference the restaurant is CLEAN, the hostess is KIND, the servers are fast and super kind, and the food very delicious like nowhere else and the desserts are...
Read moreIf you order Chili's to go. Don't expect to go anywhere soon! This is our 4th time ordering To Go from this location. This is the 4th time the order has been nowhere ready by the time indicated. Which is normally 25 minutes from the order placed online.
We've done this on a Thursday, on a Wednesday. Weekdays, the same result. The shortest amount of time having to wait past the order due time was 20 minutes. I've waited up to 45 minutes past the time noted on the order.
Tonight, I showed up 14 minutes past the due time. Squeezed myself into the waiting area, which is smaller than my modest closet, with 9 other people. Can you say fire code violation. I am sure at least two of them had their cars parked in the handicap spots. Both with no handicap placards. This happens all the time. The restaurant does not enforce it. I called Oswego PD so I am sure there are a couple of folks that spent more on their dinner than they bargained for. Seriously, there is no excuse for taking a spot designated for disabled people and you should be ashamed!!!
Now they do curb side pick up. More like double parked pick up and handicap parking spot pick up. This location was not built for these services.
Oh, the the plastic take home container does little to keep your food warm.
To be fair, if we would've ate in, we would've been served faster than we did for the to go. This begs the question if corporate sets a 25 minute expectation for the customer, why isn't the manager upholding this? Seemingly, folks dining in are priority to the staff, not the to go customers. Customers, since guests are usually treated better.
In closing, to the manager. If you wondered why the order in the photo attached to this review was still sitting on your non warming to go table, the aforementioned is why. I wasn't going to wait in a room stuffed tighter than a New York subway during rush hour for food promised more than 20 minutes earlier. I sure hope you tossed it rather than re-warmed it for...
Read moreThe food was the only thing that saved this experience from being a total disaster. It took forever for the food to get to us (almost half an hour). Don't get me wrong, it was tasty food but then the bill came. I went to charge the 64 dollars on my debit card and the little machine said 64 dollar charge please sign. So I sign and then it says I owe 6 dollars and change on the right hand screen. On the left hand screen it says I owe 8 and change. So we waited almost ten minutes for the waitress to finally come by to tell her what the issue is and she gets her manager, Kelly. Kelly was very condenscending and basically accused me of not having enough money in my bank account (which I checked then and there with more than enough money to spare avaliable). She got very annoyed that I was concerned that on their machine somehow 9 dollars went missing and that it couldn't make up it's mind on how much we actually owed. After explaining to her why I was upset (that somehow their machine lost a portion of my payment) she came back with attitude and frustration that she was even involved. Rather than admitting their machine screwed up, causing a rather concerning situation for me with all the debit card fraud going around, she kept insisting we needed to figure out a way to pay and made it very obvious that she wasn't going to deal with the situation anymore. We paid the rest on my husband's card (which she took to the back against my concerns) and I assured her we would be back if either of us were charged what the paper copies said we were supposed to be charged since she kept insisting the paper was what was right. I hated the experience due to Kelly's attitude and lack of concern that we had an issue. Worst customer service I've had in my life. My husband and I both agreed, we will never eat at another Chili's again...
