The Scoop — Restaurant in Oswego Township

Edited to add onto my review from last year: This is year two of going to The Scoop and it just keeps getting better! Thank you so much for continuing to bring -delicious- new flavors of regular ice cream AND dairy-free options!! We love having a local shop to frequent that has something for our whole family :) __ We tried their two dairy free ice cream flavors (Madagascar Vanilla Bean Coconut Cream & Dutch Chocolate Coconut Cream) and they were delicious!! And when we asked if they could use a clean scoop because of a dairy allergy, they were glad to do so, but also let us know they have some pre-scooped into little to-go cups - which was awesome. All around a great experience and we’ll definitely be back...

We arrived in Oswego to go biking along the Fox River Trail. It started raining so we stopped into this ice cream store to kill some time and waiting for the rain to stop. Sweet little ice cream shop with an eclectic variety of flavors. Not a huge space but a little inside seating is available. We ordered a single scoop in a cup and they REALLY filled that cup. I definitely got my money's worth especially for a small local type place. Plus I always prefer local over chain establishments. We'll...
