We were on our way back to Chicago from Denver and hadn't eaten a warm meal the day before. We were looking forward to pigging out here before we continued on our journey to Chicago. We were IMPRESSED with the menu. The service was honestly TOP NOTCH. We were taken care of very well. Various staff members came in several times to ask how everything was. It reminded me of that desi feeling in India.
Now the food. Of course, no Indian restaurant can be compared to restaurants in India. It's a really high bar that's tough to meet for various factors. So this review is what I have found in the US.
My favorite thing here was the BRU coffee. EXCELLENT. Well balanced, perfect amount of milk and perfect amount of coffee (you can ask for a little more if you like it stronger).
We ordered a vegetable samosa. While not the best, it was fresh and did taste good. Only thing I missed in the flavor is that touch of garam masala which for me would have rounded the masala off really well. However all in all, it was a great samosa.
We ordered the onion dosa; Never had that but what we got was least expected. It was basically a dosa with lightly sauteed red onions in it along with the chutneys and sambar. I am not knowledgeable of the numerous dishes South India has so I cannot say that this was bad or anything. Just unexpected. The sambar was excellent as was the coconut chutney. The chutney actually was heavenly.
We also ordered one ghee idli. This was drenched in ghee (and yes, this is exactly how it is supposed to be). It was heavenly. I hadn't had ghee while away for 7 weeks so I got my fill of ghee in this one sitting and I know my bones and body really thanked me for it. While I have had ghee idli before, it's been a long time so I realize 3 idlis drenched in ghee was a bit much for me. I would recommend sharing that. Flavor was awesome.
The only dish that was disappointing was the chilli paneer. I think the chef may have gotten tired of cooking so many things for us. We ordered the chilli paneer but the paneer was honestly very very difficult to eat. The paneer was way overcooked. It wasn't chewy as such but rather starting to transform into a brick. We let the staff know and they were kind enough to get a replacement. The replacement while much better still had a few pieces that were not as soft as one would expect. The flavor too on this particular dish was overall less than what we have had in the past.
We go to Denver each year and I need to stop in KC each way to have my bbq fix so we will definitely be visiting this place one more time for at...

Details! Everything I've eaten here has been stellar. Chicken's always moist and tender, the offerings are unlike any of the "boilerplate" menus at most of the other Indian restaurants in the area. I have not been disappointed with anything from the perspective of the food and drink.
However, the service is depressingly bad. Each time we've dined in, it takes roughly 10-15 minutes for ANYONE to approach our table. They NEVER check on you during the meal so that if/when you need something, you have to flag down a server yourself. The last time we dined in, they brought out my entree FIFTEEN MINUTES after they brought out my friend's. By the ten-minute mark, we finally asked someone about my food. They said they'd go check and literally never returned.
Worst of all, they brought (and charged us for) two appetizers that only one of us had ordered. We left the second order untouched and notified the server immediately (which took about four tries of flagging someone down). They still charged us for it and when we reminded them that we hadn't ordered two, the server had the guts to say, "No, he got it right. You ordered two." LOL I said, "I didn't even LOOK at the appetizers because I knew I wasn't going to finish my biryani as it was. I didn't even order any naan or puri..." I gestured to my 3/4-full bowl of biryani and the take-out boxes. They finally relented and took it off our bill, but I have never been gaslit by a server before.
Beyond the service, my only real complaint about the place is that the menu isn't detailed enough about many of the dishes. One time, we were told that the egg curry COULDN'T have its spice level adjusted, so that it was just medium, regardless. This isn't indicated on the menu at all. Similarly, the onion samosas were so spicy that my friend couldn't even finish ONE piece. Again, the spice level isn't indicated on the menu. Other things, like the dosa, we are told take 15-20 minutes to prepare. Yet another detail omitted. If some of these important details were on the menu to start with, it could save patrons a lot of frustration and time while they order.
All in all, the food makes this place worth a stop, but like I said... you're better off ordering to go and side-stepping the dining...

Coming to Pulav I felt like I need biryani but specially Pulav’s are so good and also healthy for your stomach though in our Egg Pulav we got superb quantity and also specials fried eggs.
Only thing to take care is Biryani’s I feel like they are cold and also taste is just like a normal one there isn’t any special.
I suggest you to take care towards biryani’s and serve them hot because it’s a cold weather.
Curries and starters were no remarks at all don’t forgot to order.
I suggest you to consider Rajadhani Indian cuisine first and others next because they are new and they take more care if we support them then we gonna get good food 🥘 also the prices are very well balanced for the quantity and quality.
