I ordered from both the food & drink menu, but I mainly had concerns over my boba tea order (pls be advised that my friend had similar experience with her boba tea as well). Initially I asked for a Thai tea, no boba. Once received, it wasnāt apparent to me until I took a sip that sweetened milk was not added to the drink, although I did notice prior to an attempt to indulge that the drink was orange in color more than usual. I let the staff member(s) know of the issue at hand and come to find out they did not have any āhalf and halfā as she described it. Thus, they served me my drink order incomplete rather than mentioning prior to order being placed or whilst they were preparing it that this was the case. They apologized and I accepted their offer to receive a different & complimentary drink. I went ahead and chose their taro smoothie. Now similar to what my friend was already dealing with herself, this drink legitimately was all color no taste: it was pretty much crush ice i was ādrinkingā. Now when it came to confronting the ongoing issue again, she exclaimed that this is the usual way they make the drinks with no complaints, and how they did everything they could to try to satisfy us. My family made an order over the phone and they told us that the order would be ready in 30-35 minutes. My mom went to pick up the order and when she arrived she let them know about the order and the staff told her that it wasn't ready yet. The staff saw my mom sitting there and waiting for a while and did nothing. Eventually my mom saw an order that was left to the side that looked like our order (we ordered a lot, so she knew itād be a big bag). She proceeded to ask the staff about her food again, and the staff asked for her name and they finally handed over her order. It took one whole HOUR for that order to be finished, and no one seemed apologetic for keeping her waiting that long. It's ok if the restaurant is busy, but if your wait time is long then let the customer know. They should not be waiting double their wait time.
What truly made me write this review though is my mom's treatment by the sushi chefs. The chefs are Vietnamese and were talking to each other. With my mom nearby they were talking about my Vietnamese mother right in front of her. They had the audacity to say in Vietnamese ālook at this lady turning purple from waiting so long," when they were the reason she's been waiting so long.
