I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but the team at the Owasso IHOP absolutely deserves it. From the moment I walked through the door, the atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable—like stepping into a familiar place where everyone actually cares about your day.
First off, let’s talk about the food. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I ordered it—which feels like a rare miracle in today’s world. My hash browns were perfectly golden my bacon was crisp but not burnt, and the drinks never hit empty. They’ve truly mastered that classic IHOP comfort-food magic that makes breakfast feel like a hug in meal form.
But what really made my visit stand out were Bug and Mike. Those two were the absolute stars of the show! Bug’s energy and kindness instantly made the experience brighter. They went out of their way to check on us, crack a few jokes, and make sure everything was perfect without ever being overbearing. You can tell Bug genuinely loves what they do—it’s rare to find that kind of warmth in customer service these days.
And then there’s Mike—what a gem. He kept things running smooth and steady, making sure every table around us was taken care of. You could see the teamwork between him and Bug, and it created such a great vibe throughout the restaurant. Mike even stopped by to ask how everything tasted, which made it feel more personal and less like just another transaction.
It’s so refreshing to see a place where the staff actually enjoys taking care of people and takes pride in their work. The restaurant was clean, the music wasn’t too loud, and the overall energy was relaxed and positive.
If you’re anywhere near Owasso and craving breakfast (or let’s be honest—breakfast for dinner), go to this IHOP. Ask for Bug and Mike. They’ll take care of you like family, and you’ll leave full, happy, and probably planning your next visit before you even hit the parking lot.

Read moreI am sorry. I am not one to typically leave reviews, but IHOP in Owasso has really chapped my hide today. First, let me give you some back story. Last time we ordered online and they didn't add in the cheesecake or chocolate chip toppings for either pancakes. I didn't check until I got home, which is my fault, but I had to make what I consider an unnecessary trip back to the restaurant. They fixed it and it was good. Fast forward to today. We order curbside pick up. I get a text to inform them that I am on my way and even check in when I am in the parking spot. Then I wait. After 10 minutes, I phone in and the young lady tells me that she will inform them I am here. Then I wait. After ten more minutes, I go inside, which is the exact opposite of what I was going for. Why do they offer curbside if it is not going to be delivered curbside to your car. I go inside where they inform me they just started curbside, which is a false statement, since it has been offered for at least the year or more we have been ordering online. The food has been sitting there and is cold now, but I have a microwave and can handle this. With the fiasco from last time, I check the pancakes. Chocolate. Check. But no cheesecake bites on the others. Ok. I ask for the fix and they go into fix it. I wait patiently while my other food continues to get colder. But at least I am leaving with the correct order, right? Wrong. We have ordered the same pancakes several times and not once have they ever put the strawberries on top and not on the side. The manager comped our meal, which was nice since I wasn't asking for that, but proceeded to tell me that they always put the strawberries on top. Anyway, I suppose we won't be going back anytime soon....
Read moreThe restaurant was filthy. Took 20 minutes just for a waiter to take our drink orders . Another 5 minutes for the drinks . Placed our order and that took 30 minutes to get . Our meal is supposed to come with pancakes both mine and my wife's. After about 5 minutes we called our waiter over and asked where our pancakes was . He said well when I got your food I didn't see any . And walked away . 15 minutes later he comes to fill my drink we asked again he looks puzzled and says what pancakes we explain our oder and did not get them he returns a few minutes later with 2 pancakes on a plate for my wife but none for myself my wife is getting upset at this point and said well I don't think I am going to tip him I said no he still deserves a tip so we finish eating it has been over an hour and our waiter has not been seen not ticket we walk to the front and a man was leaning over the back of a booth in the walk way talking to people I said excuse me sir he stands upright and I walk past him standing at the front waiting for someone pay our bill the man that was talking to those people was the manager ! Then he finally finds our ticket we hand him the cash he disappears in the back for 10 minutes before we see him again with our change !! This was crazy. I felt like I was at a friend's house and everyone was just hanging out having a good time if you need something help yourself and don't mind the mess ! The difference is I never have to pay my friends for an experience like this ! Did I mention I never recieved my all you can eat pancakes with my meal at all ! Wow never been in a situation like this one ! I will never forget this they made the top of the list out of all my bad experiences...
