I have tried hard to like Bruno's but this is my last straw. They do have pizza by the slice but that is all too often old and dried out. They people working there are less than nice. Every time I go there they look at me like I am some kind of trouble. I wouldn't trust the food if I didn't see them prepare it withy own eyes. The owner or the big guy who cooks the pizzas is particularly unsettling. He makes you feel like you are bothering him if you ask for a slice. To be honest he is kind of scary. Like I may regret wrtting this review.
Anyhow... The convince of pizza by the slice made up for it but this really does it for me. Last Friday, 4 Days ago we won a raffle at the Marshall May Fest for a free Bruno's Pizza. They would not honor it. As far as I am concerned they are a place that should be avoided. There is something bad going on in that place. You can feel it in the air and on the mood of the employees. Perhaps they have been burned tooany times by drunk students. Whatever the...
Read moreNever got our pizza...paid for it though. (Even left a tip when I paid) I will say that one rude interaction doesn't justify another. I'm sure the owner likes it when it's busy. There was one person making pizzas and tending oven. One person taking orders, maybe a driver in and out. One person, who was possibly the manager, pretty much just scowling at customers. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen! Will not likely return...too many other options to go through the hassle. Ps...I know you're hiring, so before you offer me a job... I've worked in the pizza business for many years. Easily could have another person staging pies on a rack to immediately place in ovens. At times, there were only two pies in the oven. Refused to make anything but cheese and maybe pepperoni, Bruno bites if ready. Refused other orders. Not hard to write a name on a ticket to post in window, text, call or carry orders out to customers waiting outside. Your take for the night could have...
Read moreI love Brunos. I order it very frequently. But I have never had such a bad experience as I did tonight. My boyfriend paid for an order of Bruno Balls, but unfortunately they only gave him a few rather than the 10 or 15 they usually do. Feeling like he wasted his money, I insisted we go back so I could buy him some more after I bought food elsehwere. Upon returning, an older man who was working behind the counter demanded that I take my food elsewhere because I didn't buy it from Brunos even though he had just watched me pay for another order of their Bruno Balls. Not only did this man send me outside to the 30 degree weather and rain in the middle of the night, he didn't think twice about it. I'm disappointed in the lack of compassion and consideration in this man... especially since I think he owns the place. If you want decently good yet very expensive pizzeria food, Brunos is your place. But if you want to be treated with respect, Brunos is...
