My fiance and I ordered on the app and went to go pick the order up in the drive through. We waited at least 5-10 mins just for someone to be ready for us to tell them we had a mobile order. There was ONE other car in the drive through and they were getting ready to leave as we pulled in. When someone finally came to the speaker, we told them we had a mobile order and were told we had to come inside. I had ordered a 20 pc shrimp meal (20 pc shrimp, two hush puppies, and two sides) and my fiance ordered the Supreme Sampler Meal (two pc fish, two pc chicken, two hush puppies, two sides, and 6 shrimp). When we got home and got ready to eat, we noticed that they gave me a 15 pc shrimp and gave my fiance one less in his order than he was supposed to have. Normally I wouldn’t be upset about any particular one of those things, mistakes happen, but the fact that it was all three of those things at once, and the fact that there was only one employee is ridiculous. No one should have to perform all that work by themselves for what I assume isn’t really great pay given that it’s a fast food restaurant. I also tried to call the number listed on Google but it said that “the called party is temporarily unavailable”. Despite all of that, the food was, surprisingly, decent. The one employee working there, bless her heart, was very sweet. It’s down right atrocious to only have one person run the drive through, register, cooking, and closing. I feel so so so bad for that poor girl. Either this establishment needs WAAAYY more employees, or something is deeply wrong...

Food was great, the ladies were wonderful, wait time was good BUT didn't get our fries we specifically stated as first choice, then green beans as second side choice. It clearly states it on the receipt too. instead was given coleslaw !! The bag in which the coleslaw and green beans were placed, on top of each they placed tarter sauce & spicy sauce, the later which was not sealed properly, and turned upside down creating a big mess all over napkins and eating utensils. Had drove all the way home before checking food 50 miles, round trip. Next time I won't move from register, or drive thru window until I check order I paid for. It's not just Captain D, but all fast food. Captain D is by far the best.. .. I'd of given you 5 stars but for the 2 slight imperfections.. .. The other fast foods, You're being put on notice. Especially Taco Bell in Oxford Alabama by exchange. They're notorious for shorting your order, then when you bring it to their managers attention, she wants to give you an attitude, but my wife took those same business courses and customer service 101 too, and she shared, very politely with you, in a language you understood, the consequences of your actions and attitude. Read morePlaced online order and arrived for pickup at 9:50 PM—Upon arrival I was informed they were out of chicken for the Supreme Sampler Meal and were out of gumbo because it was so close to closing. (They close at 11:00 PM—more than an hour from arrival time!) They asked to substitute fish for the two pieces of chicken, which I reluctantly agreed to. For the gumbo ($3.99), I just told them to cancel it. The manager then came to the window to tell me he couldn’t cancel because it was ordered online. ??? He said he could cancel the entire order. I asked him to just substitute a piece of cheesecake, which he said he couldn’t do because there was a $.60 cost difference—I asked if they had funnel cake ($4.19), and he substituted with that. I then double-checked with them that their closing time was 11:00 PM (not 10), and the girl at the window told me it was 11:00 PM, but they start cleaning early—over an hour early, evidently.
