Wendy's — Restaurant in Oxford

I will NEVER visit this location again. The Wendy's near the exchange is brilliant, always good food and the man at the window is always kind and professional. The Tower Rd location however, is one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had.. we pulled up to see workers standing around outside smoking, then when we pulled up to order, we waited almost 15 minutes, JUST to get to order. Get to the box and the very young man said to hold even longer. Waited about 5-10min, for ME to have to remind him I was there waiting! He had no idea what I was ordering and said he couldnt find it in the computer to ring it up. It just was a chicken sandwich combo. We pulled around, but the pay window was closed, and the man in front of us, was still waiting on his order, at the hand out window. As we sat there, we could see inside, through the pay window. Even though we had been waiting for at least 30 minutes now, we could see the "workers" in the back area, running around horse-playing, dancing, playing music loudly, and standing around doing nothing for the entire time we were at that window waiting to pull up, to get our food. One even looked at me and seen me watching them in disbelief, and they made a face at me and made the motion like "WHAT???!" at me... After that, I gave up and pulled off infuriated. I wanted no part in eating anything that came from those workers, who clearly didnt want to be there and could CARE LESS to do their job. And also, one of the ones in the back laughing, horse-playing around and cutting up with the others, had a manager shirt on. This was one of MANY times there, that we have waited insane amounts of time, and had our food wrong, or had a smart aleck worker shove our food out the window, without saying ONE WORD to us. So needless to say, that was the last time we will ever visit that location again....

We went for our evening sweet and to try the new strawberry frosty. When we arrived it seemed busy, not sure why but it seemed like they may have been trying to train a newbie (they were) and as we approached the order kiosk we were told their POS was down and it was cash only (which was fine), then we were asked politely to hold on for a minute (ok, that's fine cause they needed to catch up) but that minute turned into almost 5 minutes. Finally, they were ready to take our order as I began to rattle off our order I was told they were out of that item, so ok, I ordered something else and was met with the same response, so then I then tried to order a chocolate frosty, still same response, so ok, then I tried to order a vanilla frosty and again I was met with the same we're out response and was finally told they only had strawberry frosted. What? How bazaar. Well, since we did go there so my husband could try the new strawberry frosty we ordered one (I didn't order anything for above mentioned reasons). So on to the frosty. As much as we enjoy our evening sweet and we like the chocolate and vanilla frostiest this strawberry frosty was absolutely disgusting. My husband was never so disappointed. Not only was it not visually appetizing but he said it was warm and a strawberry milkshake from anywhere else would have been better. I'm not sure what was up with Wendy's that night but the succession of events that evening are sure the making for this review. In all fairness we will have to give them another try (but not the strawberry frosty) since we don't usually eat fast food. All in all, it's definitely a busy restaurant a little tricky to get to plus their really tall sign was not lit up but the staff are nice and friendly. I'm sure next time we'll get to try something tasty, if they have any to...

I normally never come to this location because it’s out of my way I go to the other one near the exchange. I decided to come to this one today I normally order about $50 worth of food because of all my kids and myself and my partner I was being rushed in the drive-through to get my order placed. The lady acted like as if she didn’t wanna be at work was very rude and nasty. We got up paid for our food. They told us to pull up to wait for our food so we did they come out with just my kids food and only 2- 10 piece nuggets. There is no way that it cost about $50 for just that. I went inside. I made the woman aware that they missed pretty much half my order. The white lady wanted to get all rude and then some colored lady wants to come up and act like she’s all big and bad like she’s the boss. I made them aware that they forgot half my order and then another lady comes from behind her and goes. Oh yeah here you go And Gave me the rest of my food if I would not have checked on my food. I would’ve left with half of my food. She said ohh well I thought I gave her all the bags were short handed there were 6 ppl behind the counter and no one in line it’s not that hard to remember a burger and fries yall ain’t got no education or respect no wounder u work...
