KFC — Restaurant in Oxnard

I'm giving this establishment a 1 star rating due to the fact they refused me service due to the fact I had my service animal with me and he wasn't wearing his vest. In accordance with California state law and the American Disability Act my service animal is not required to wear a vest, or wear anything that defines him as a service animal. In fact, I do not need to show my service dog certificate either, although I attempted to show the manager but he refused to look at it. Continuing to yell at me in front of other employees and customers demanding I leave because my animal was not wearing his vest. Although I was embarrassed, humiliated, and infuriated, I still remained calm and attempted to educate the manager about the laws but he refused to hear anything I was saying to him. He threatened to call the Oxnard Police Department if I did not exit the restaurant with my animal. Mind you during this whole confrontation I was not rude and I did not raise my voice. I quietly left the restaurant when I realized this man is not going to budge and the situation would escalate if I wasn't the bigger person and choose to walk away. I did call the Better Business Bureau when I exited the restaurant and filed a complaint. By California state law and by the ADA, a business is only allowed to ask 2 questions when an animal is brought into any business not pet friendly. Those 2 questions are 1.) Is your animal a service animal? 2.) What tasks does your animal perform? The employee working the register was kind and seemed embarrassed by the manager's behavior, be also was the one who gave me the manager's name so I could file...

😋Yummy, "KFC -🍗 Chicken Restaurant!!" Excellent staff service & the "KFC's Fried 🍗 Chicken" at this particular location in Oxnard, CA. And it's, NEVER a bit greasy! Like it always seem to be, at all of the other places, we've ordered "KFC🍗" from! Usually this place is decent but tonight was no good... I tried ordering a side of pickles but I was not able to and I wasn't given a reason why... The person taking my order act like she couldn't hear me and she had a I don't care attitude... Then she got my friend order wrong... He ordered chicken strips and mashed potatoes on the side... He got big old crispy chicken 🍗.. I got the #17 just threw my stuff in the bag and they have me a lot of sporks and no cookie 🍪... It comes with the meal... The service bad the food wasn't tasty...
