I ordered online directly through the blend website. After a long time of waiting and never receiving my order I call the store. The girl on the phone was able to tell me my name without me ever saying it but some how said they never received my order. I had to go in there in person to attempt to retrieve my food. No one was available to help me. The staff did not know what to do and I really did not want to be rude to them. There was no manager present and I got put on the phone with the manager aternan. He told me to contact whoever I ordered through and dispute it with them. I told him I am doing that right now and disputing it with you because if I leave I can not get a refund because I do not have postmates or uber eats etc I ordered directly through the blend .com square website. Aternan not assisting me told me I could just purchase the bowls again. What kind of ultimatum is that. I lose my money then have to purchase the bowls again? I never recieved a refund or those 3 acai bowls i paid for. Poor manager assistance from aternan has led me to write this one star review I do not want to go back and argue for my 3 bowls as that is all that is gonna happen. He did not want to help me even though they definitley received my order because the girl had my name. I was receiving looks standing their in line on the phone and speaking with the manager as everything is such close proximity. I do not care for looks over acai bowls or the $44 dollars I lost. I am disappointed aternan couldn’t assist me in anyway because him and or the blend is incapable of eating there own mistake and just getting me...
Read moreOriginally, I would always go to Costco for my açaí bowls. But when they took them off the food court menu I started looking for a new spot to get a good açaí bowl, that’s when I found this spot. At first it was pretty good, I found that I really enjoyed the Hawaiian bowl but I substituted the bananas for blueberries because I didn’t like the texture that the banana gave the smoothie. The first time I did this I knew I found my favorite açaí bowl from this spot. I went again, it was all great. Then I went again, they forgot to put mango in it which was a pretty big part to the bowl but I didn’t make too much of it. I went again, when I tried it something tasted bad so I began to try the fruit toppings and I found that the blueberries where wrinkly and were brown inside, rotten. That’s what tasted bad. I had to throw the bowl away seeing as the blueberries were also inside the actual smoothie. After this I was fairly upset, and disappointed because I was enjoying getting this açaí bowl. About 2 weeks later, I decided to give it another chance. They forgot the mangos again which wasn’t too bad because my fiancé ended up going back in so they can put some, but again the blueberries were brown inside not as spoiled as the first time but still noticeably tasted horrid. I’m not sure if it was just a few bad ones but I haven’t...
Read moreWe use to frequent this place. I mean religiously. At least 3xs a week. One day it was close to closing time and we asked if there was still time to order our usual. The worker said sure so we did. We arrived a little after they were supposed to close --it was a Friday night and the other eateries were still serving customers--the employee felt horrible but had to tell us that "the boss" said they weren't allowed to sell it to us after the exact closing hour. We then see "the boss" walking away eating the very bowl that had been waiting for us. I wouldn't mind if this were a rule that was known to the employees and was unforced since we had started eating there BUT they serve people close to closing all the time and that specific day decided to eat the food I was going to purchase?! AND they knew us as regulars so they knew we were good for it, even "the boss" knew we were regulars. AND we continued to eat there even after finding a carpet beetle in the granola. This was just bad business!...
