The worst service I've had for dinner in a decade. I was visiting my brother and he really had talked up this place, it was a disappointment. Keep mind the place was not busy: the restaurant was 75% full and they had 3 servers plus a food runner working.
Our server quickly took our order of three pizzas and drinks, but things quickly went downhill from there. Although the first pizza arrived within 15 minutes, we had no plates to eat it with, and our drinks - including water - were nowhere to be seen. When the server finally returned 5 minutes, we had to remind him that we still hadn't received our drinks. He returned with plates, but four plates - for a party of five. He promptly disappeared again for another 5-10 minutes before we got our drinks.
15 minutes went by and the server returned to ask us our pizza order again. Reordering because We had he had the rest of the pizza order completely wrong. After reordering, the second pizza took another 20 minutes to arrive. The last pizza another 20 minutes after that. After the last pizza came out, our server vanished and we never saw him again for the rest of the night. This was a real shame, as we would have ordered more drinks had he checked on us.
To make matters worse, a different server came over with a check that wasn't even for our table. And later on, a food runner approached us asking if we had ordered a pizza that we hadn't. We watched as she asked every table in the restaurant if the pizza was theirs.
With no sign of our server, we had to flag down another server to ask for the check and a pizza box. Although we received the check immediately, the server never came back with the box, nor did anyone come to collect our payment. I ended up having to go to the bar to pay and ask for a box myself.
While the food and seltzer were great, the service was a complete letdown. It's clear that the restaurant needs to invest more in staff training and communication before I'd ever consider coming back.
To the owners: please take action to improve your staff training, or consider going back to your old system of having customers order...
Read moreIt feels like a place with half a foot in the event space and half in the food space. Half way out of business.
On food, we ordered the breakfast burrito and breakfast tacos. The accompanying salsa was fairly bland and ingredients under seasoned. We requested that one item be left off the tacos. The waiter delivered the plate with the following, "I told the kitchen not to include that on the tacos. Is that ok?" He should have asked the kitchen to remove it before coming to the table. Which takes me to service.
On service, it forever to place an order in a half empty restaurant. Our waiter disappeared for the most part. We ended up going to the register to pay our bill. The food was delivered with no offer of salt and pepper or hot sauce. We grabbed our own to go container from a cart.
On facility, at the start of breakfast service, all stall three bathroom stalls had no TP and one had no seat covers. The hallway to the bathroom is filthy and allowed patrons to view random messes from the four placemats on a folding station, stacks of stuff in the kitchen on the floor, etc.
There were what looked like empty containers strewn in one area on the way to the bathroom. All of the outdoor chairs are rusted from the sea air and it is only a matter of time before a customer sits in one and falls to the ground.

Read moreTook a chance. Looked nice from the outside and inside, great location at lovers point. Waitress was rude, never introduced herself, asked me to move out of her way when we came in. Got seated, she took our order for me and my kid for a pepperoni pizza. Only when it was brought to us did she mention it was spicy 🌶️ and my kid could avoid the spicy spots. Water was tap water (did not sell bottled or have filtered) they were out of ice so my child and I had warm tap water for a spicy pizza. Had calamari as a starter. It was big portions but it was chewy, greasy, and not good. The dip (Thai dipping sauce) tasted like salt vinegar.
Never checked back on the food quality after she brought it out. I had to flag her down to get another option to drink- I asked for ice water, or juice she just stood there while I asked for some juice options then she said we don’t have those (ok what do you do have?) ended up with OJ didn’t have anything else to offer- and as she’s bringing out the OJ, she was able to find a glass of ice water as she brought us the OJ which was an extra cost (all we wanted was something cold that wasn’t faucet water but now paying for OJ - are you just raising up the bill?) will not go back, will not recommend.
Pizza was good but won’t hold up the poor service and other...
