The selection of baked goods is impressive. I tried several items, including their sourdough bread, croissants, and a few of their decadent pastries. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The bread had a perfect crust and a soft, flavorful interior, while the pastries were light, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet.

The deli side of Kirchhoff’s is equally fantastic. I had one of their signature sandwiches, which was packed with high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. The combination of fresh bread, meats, and cheeses was simply outstanding.

The staff at Kirchhoff’s is friendly and attentive, making sure that every customer feels welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing lunch or a quick coffee and pastry break.

Great sandwiches! Even better baked goods! This longtime Paducah bakery and grill is located at the Market House square, a quick walk to the riverfront. Kirchhoff's is the best option for morning bagels in downtown/lowertown, also that areas absolute best spot for delicious sandwiches at lunch. Generously sized cookies and meals at surprisingly low prices make Kirchhoff's a top choice city wide. Desert bars, quiches, bagels, bread, and cookies are baked fresh daily. Quick and friendly service compliment the gratifying food, and pulls it all off in a rapid paced swarm of famished people, making Kirschoff's a local favorite. Just the sheer volume of daily customers, bustling in to peruse the baked delights, is indication enough of this establishment's excellence. If you live here and have never had the Kirchoff's experience you definitely have a deficit in need of fulfilment...if visiting, you absolutely must (at the very least) visit this wonderful eatery for lunch. i have loved going to kirchoff’s + etc for years, and i always go with friends from out of town.

sadly, their bar for service is on the ground. there’s one man in particular in the bakery who is consistently rude, moody, and downright abrasive - requesting tips outright when he does no more than take things out from the display case!

i’m sorry… but really… asking outright for a tip (on a $2 cookie order) after being grouchy AND rude? how is this guy still employed in a customer service role?

there have even been times where he outright cut me off mid order - as though he was annoyed to hear me speak.

i always tip at etc next door because the baristas are kind, hardworking, and work hard to make the drinks very quickly.
