Denny's — Restaurant in Palm Bay

A family of 4 should plan to spend at least an hour here, not including eating. We have been to this location several times, during different times of the day and have different servers and it has always been the same...whether there are 4 occupied tables or 40. It doesn't take long to be seated, but from the time you sit to the time you place drink orders, get the drinks and then eventually place your order, you are looking at a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes. Once you finally place your order you will wait another 20 to 30 minutes and not once has our order come out correctly. I asked to have cheese put in my omelet and hash browns, what I got was a cheese slice placed on top of them, not melted just warm from the omelet and hash browns. When your order comes out wrong, which is very well might, that unlucky person will end up dining alone because their re-do is not rushed to be completed, it is done in the order the cooks receive it. The cooks here need some training also, in basic foods, timing of the orders (appetizers should not come out 2 minutes b4 the main course), dealing with allergies or other food induced medical situations. If you need a condiment or beverage refills, you will be waiting...and waiting, and by the time you get it, you will be done eating or be parched. Don't be surprised if a table that was seated and ordered after you gets their food b4 you get yours. My husband and I both have restaurant experience, front and back of the house, so we know that things can go wrong and get crazy, which is why we give a restaurant several tries b4 we give up on it. Unfortunately things going and being crazy seem to be the norm here. Fortunately, turnover is pretty high in restaurants so in a few months when they have a new staff, we may give it another try...but we don't expect much to change because over the last five years we have had the same problems, addressed the problem and the only thing that has changed are the faces...

Awful! ive actually eaten here twice a group of friends. The first time one of my friends ordered poached eggs...it took forever to get our meals and after we had finally got out meals and eaten everything the waitress brought out the eggs which were raw, after saying something to the waitress all she did was trash talk the kitchen to me... The 2nd time I went was because my friend had received coupons so we figured we'd try it again but not order eggs. The waitress was incredibly rude, I had an extremely hard time biting my tongue. When we finally got our food (pancakes) she had messed them all up. I had ordered a Cinnabon pancake which was suppose to has walnuts in it with the white icing on the top instead I received my friends plain pancakes with icing and she received my walnut and cinnamon pancakes with strawberries on top. I was kind of disappointed since I was expecting walnuts and cinnamon and when I told the waitress she did nothing about it except rolled her eyes..the table beside us was complaining of similar issues...she came back and asked if I wanted more but at that point I was annoyed and we were all ready to leave since our meals were messed up and to top it off she messed up our checks. After explaining multiple times who was together and who wasn't we received wrong checks again and again but we figured we'd just figure the money about amongst our selfs later...but here's the best part when we finally went to pay she couldn't figure out how to use our coupons which were 100% valid...so we ended up paying full price for messed up meals and terrible service. I would not recommend this place at all. We all had the poops after our experience. I don't even think this place...

Was not happy at all here, to start with the server we had was an old grumpy woman who should not be allowed to serve the public as her attitude sucks. When we were first seated she came over and asked for our drinks, we wanted coffee and I told the server we would need alot if creamer, her response was I Know in a condescending tone, she brought us our coffee and creamer and we began drinking and deciding what to order for food. Welhen we decided what to eat she came and took our order, did not ask or even care if we needed more coffee, while we waited for over 10 minutes she passed our table several times and not once asked about more coffee. Well by this time our food arrived and she asked if we needed anything more and I asked for a glass of milk and more coffee. She went and refilled our coffee and again asked if we wanted anything more and my wife said we are good except for the milk and again she huffed and replied with a sarcastic " I know " and left. While back in the server station she was loudly going on about something and you are a bunch of idiots, I am assuming she was referring to the other servers. So now let's get to the food, not only was the hashbrowns WAY UNDERCOOKED they were cold, the omelet I ordered the ham inside was also cold as if to have been thrown in at the last second. The rest of the food was barely warm as if it had been sitting. I do not know about you, but I do not like cold food, especially cold bacon, and cold pancakes. We will not be coming back to this restaurant again, waffle house is better...
