I recently had the pleasure of visiting the new Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience(regardless of the free and plentiful parking lol).
The new establishment's decor was tastefully done, combining elements of island charm and sophistication; a serene and tranquil environment. The outdoor covered patio space was the perfect setting to enjoy a drink with good company(those you bring as well as those you meet); spacious layout, relaxing setting with fresh air and adjustable cover options for the frequently changing Florida weather. Plus the addition of live music definitely enhanced the overall experience.
What truly set this experience apart was the personal touch provided by the staff(Justin, Anthony, Keith, Josseline, Camila just to name a few). knowledgeable about the menu, inventory, and took the time to ensure guests had a memorable visit. Attentive, going above and beyond to accommodate requests and preferences. Personable, genuine and professionalism added so much to my overall experience.
As for the menu; whether you're a fan of seafood, burgers, or vegetarian cuisine, there was something for everyone. The dishes were expertly prepared in both taste and presentation; fresh ingredients that left me happy with the items I chose (this visit: the Coconut Shrimp and the Ahi Tuna Mini Tacos).
Overall, my experience at the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of friendly and attentive staff, the inviting outdoor patio space with live music, and the comfortable zen ambiance has me looking forward to...
Read moreI was not aware that there was a TB Marlin bar and restaurant at the Gardens mall, but as most of you know, if I’m doing a review on a place, then something truly made me sit down and share my experience with others! First off, those of you that have not been here, take the time and stop by for an island drink or maybe even a quick bite. The menu is straight to the point easy and lite. The meals have an explosion of flavors, and each one distinct and well rounded. There were three of us for an early lunch, and every thing came out perfectly. The atmosphere is “relaxed” and truly enjoyable. It’s that place I could go to multiple times a week! Since this was our first visit, Nick gave us suggestions for menu choices, and took the time to follow up with us at our table. He was easy to talk with and down to earth. It is the kind of experience that should be a roll for others to follow. I loved the Nashville sliders and the wife had the Ahi Poke Bowl, which I also tried and was amazed at the flavor. Of course the sister in law had the avocado taco salad and I didn’t even get to sample that. That means I’m gunna have to come back for more of the delicious food and...
Read moreThe bar is super cute, but from the moment I walked in and sat at the bar I felt a bit overlooked by the bartenders. Someone came and gave me water, but after that no one ever came back over to ask if I wanted food or drinks. I was getting ready to move on to the next bar and then Mikal came in from the kitchen (Coming off her break?). Not only did she immediately greet me with a warm smile, but he also managed to balance her professional duties with a genuine, engaging attitude that made me feel like she was happy I was there.
I ordered a margarita and a steak flatbread. Mikal checked in with me multiple times, ensured my glass was never empty, and took the time to chat without being overbearing. It’s clear that Mikal cares about making every guest feel welcomed, and that truly elevated my experience at the bar.
In a space where attention can sometimes feel divided, Mikal’s service was the kind of hospitality that turns a regular night out into something memorable. Despite the initial setback with the other bartenders, Mikal’s exceptional customer service won me over, and I’ll definitely be back :)
If you’re lucky enough to have Mikal behind the bar, you're in...
