Terrible service! Not what I'd expect when you buy 2 bar stools for $1000. Rooms to Go has better customer service!
At this store: (1) Don't accept delivery of furniture that is damaged as their customer service is terrible. (2) And don't believe their promised delivery dates. (1) I ordered a sleeper sofa in Sept. 2022 and when it was delivered, the front wooden leg was damaged. I was told it would be fixed promptly. I waited a few weeks and nothing happened. I followed up because apparently no repair order was placed internally. I then received the wrong leg (for a table) in the mail. Weeks later repair men came with the right type of leg, but the wrong size, so no repair happened. However, while they were at my home, they put their drill down on my area rug and left a grease stain that I had to have professionally cleaned to get it out. A few weeks later, the correct sofa leg finally came in the mail. However, I then had two scheduled appointments for the installation of the leg, but no one showed up either time. So, 2.5 months later, to avoid more frustration, I chose to to remove the broken leg and install the new one myself. (2) In Sept. 2022 I also ordered a full size wall mirror which was promised to be delivered Oct. 21-Nov. 7. Although the mirror supposedly made its way to their "Pompano Beach Hub" on Nov.16th, I could not get it delivered to my home despite paying for a "white glove" delivery service. I did have two scheduled appointments for the delivery, but once again no one showed up either time. BTW, to schedule a delivery appointment, plan on spending a lot of time on hold to do so. Finally, on Dec. 27th I...
Read moreI remember the days when Pottery Barn was a good company with quality furniture and quality service. Those days are long gone. What a joke. 27 separate phone calls to the store, trying to track down my missing Furniture. 27!!! No responses and no calls back. Just constant promises that “someone will call you back soon.“
Pottery barn at the Gardens mall borders on the verge of being a fraud. They took $11,000 of my money with the promise of furniture delivery within 60 days. Four months later, I had still not heard from them. When they finally delivered a portion of the order (less than half the items) they announced that the rest of the furniture would be delayed almost a year. No apologies, no credits, nothing. Just told me that if I didn’t like it, they could retrieve the items which had been delivered (which were worthless to me because it was an incomplete set) but only if I paid them an additional $250. Ludicrous. I will gladly pay a modest premium for the superior quality of one of their competitors next time around - Restoration hardware or arhaus. Will never shop at...
