I was in the mall today and decided to try a burger place I had never visited before. Reviews were good so I decided to give them a try. The experience was less than stellar to the point that I doubt I would ever eat at another of their locations and tell everyone I know to avoid this location in particular.
What I ordered was a double burger, cooked well, with lettuce, onion and bacon. What I got was a complete disappointment. First; well does not mean pink in the middle. Second; bacon should be cooked as well. Third; Lettuce should be more than one small little leaf. Fourth; the bun should not be falling apart from the crease that has soaked into it. Fifth; the order was to dine in and they put it in a box which barely held the burger and fries and give you no place to put your condiments so you end up stacking stuff on top of your food or leaving your food on a table in the middle of the mall. About the only thing that was good was the fact that they left the salt off the fries as requested. The drink was a Coke so it is hard to mess that up to badly.
It took a few minutes to get the food, about 10, even though they were not busy. The staff member setting up the food into the boxes seemed like a good employee but the other staff seemed to be moving without a purpose and enjoying themselves a bit too much. I believe I even saw one of them going away from the grill area and returning without changing their gloves.

The manager on duty on 03/06/2025 around 4:45pm I think asked the team to make my order on the Fly, but the cashier on duty who was exceptional his name is Jordan he was everything an employee of anywhere should be like. I wish him the best in whichever endeavor or path of work or career he takes and of cause the team as well if it won’t for team work part of my experience would not have happened the way it did, but it all started with Jordan. I’ll be sure to visit SHAKE SHACK @ The Gardens Mall with my colleagues hopefully soon. To Jordan and the manager on duty that day, thank you so much. A register should be available from open to close and I shouldn't have to be rudely pointed to some b.s kiosk I don't want to use. I wont be back to any shake Shack alot of cheaper options or even more expensive ones where workers are willing to provide service and talk to customers. You have the kids fooled and that little after school business/crowd but there are grown ups who still want their service with their 20 dollar burger. My kid won't spend another dollar here.
