Worst management ever. They don't answer the phone there. they have lied to me several times about my repair. Let me start by saying we operate a Professional Video production house that currently owns 8 Mac computers, 3 ipads 3 iphones (the latest versions), 4 apple Tv's . I have bought over 300 movies from the itunes store, (not rent, buy) and have been using Mac since 1998. I am a subscriber to Apple Music. I was a huge fan. That stops now. Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave by the way the current management is operating. The local Apple Gardens Mall is the absolute worst.
I have had several beefs with Apple lately but this last one will now make me look at the PC world again. On March 23rd i bought one of my imac's in for Ghosting issues with the display. first they had me on the phone reinstalling my operating system to see if that would work. after a few hours, it did not. Then i go to the store and they determine it the graphics card, and they have to order that and since that is attached to the logic board, they will replace that as well. They told me they would call me when the board came in and then i will have to leave my computer for 3-5 days to fix. I need my computers working, but fine, i'll do it. I bring it back in and i don't hear from them at all going on day 7. I call the store. No one answers the phone at this store.
I finally call apple care and they get the store on the line and tell me my computer is done. to pick it up. fine. I go pick it up and they tell me, they don't know if its actually fixed the problem so they will order a display as well, call me when that part comes in and they do a quick turn around in one day. Fine. Few days go by and nothing. I call. They don't answer the phones again. EVER. I call apple care again, This time they get me a Senior Advisor. He is appalled, , says don't worry, we will fix this and i will send a third party repair person to install the new display to your house. He takes my info. At the very last minute tells me his software is having glitches can i please hold. One hour later he comes back on line to tell me something is wrong with their system so he can schedule the repair person, Can he call me back? I say yes. He calls me back hours later and for some reason puts me on hold for another half hour, just to come back and tell me the system for scheduling the repair person is still down. So we go back to plan A. he calls the store, He talks to the Manager at the Apple Gardens Mall and they say, they already ordered the display and when it comes in they will call me, get me there and do a ONE day repair. Fine. Five days later, no cal and Still no answer at the Apple Gardens Mall when i call them. So i call Apple Care again. This time get another Senior Advisor and he tries the same "AT Home" repair techniques and finds out they do not offer that where I am. So he calls the Apple Garden Mall and they say yes we have the part but it will be at least 3 days to repair once i bring it in. Then he tells me I can bring it in until Saturday at 1:45 pm (the middle of My weekend) . I asked what happened to the offer of a One day repair and he said they wont do that. So now i sit here and write this. I never do reviews, but i am so done with Apple. They have become everything they tried to change.
Oh I forgot in the middle of this the business manager keeps calling me to see if i want to buy more Macs. HA!!!!! I was gonna get that new imac Pro but now I will buy or build a PC.
So Bottom Line stay away from this store in particular, but Apple is not what they used to be....
Read moreThe Apple Store at the Gardens Mall has a terrible atmosphere. The noise level prohibits clear thinking. Is that your intention, Apple? I hate going in that store and I just bought my third iPhone. The electronic buzz from the people and apparatuses, without any dampening, is very disturbing to my hearing. I am a 67 yo woman. The employees seem to be welcoming, but also seem too robotic. The protocol is difficult to grasp, especially for first time users. One enters, is greeted by one of the many blue people and then directed to another blue person to set up an appointment to talk to a third person. Why couldn't I have done this online, outside of the store? Then my appointment was in one hour. So I had to twiddle my thumbs. I went to the AT&T store and got the iPhone problem fixed there, and then I bought my new iPhone 6 there. Meanwhile I tried to cancel my appointment via text messages with the ha ha Genius Bar but it appears not to take messages. It only can send messages. "Your appointment is soon." "Your appointment is now". Please cancel. "We cannot hold your appointment. We are giving your time slot to someone else."
Might as well have written a message to me, "This is Apple, and you are behaving badly."
I really do not like the atmosphere of the store at all. Mostly due to the chaotic noise bounce all over the place. Not a quiet nook in the place to compose a thought. I don't think I will ever go there again, but of course you are the only game in town, damn you. I mean that figuratively. Why are you making us nuts with the noise level? Didn't your mother ever tell you you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar? Stupid Apple. Makes me think you don't care a bit about your customers. Only about your bottom line. Well? Are you going to publish this or not? What? Your frickin "Publish" button doesn't operate? Only your "Cancel" button works?
Oh. Now I see. I had to figure it out by going to another window and trying again. One has to touch the cursor to a star rating before it all gets operational. Why didn't you say so? You ASSume to much. When you sold me my iMac, you forgot to tell me, either in store or in manual, how to turn on the machine. It was my first iMac. I didn't know. You ASSumed everyone knew. I spent two hours trying to figure out how to turn it on. NOTHING in the manual indicating an ON/OFF button sleekly put in the rear of the lower left corner of the monitor. So there. Here is my review. You need to treat your customers better. And I am a stockholder. Shape up, Apple. We are not all your zombie friends. Some of us can think for ourselves. Sincerely, Linda...
Read moreOne night my iPhone 5 would not turn on or charge. It would show that it was charging but the battery kept showing red even after leaving it on charge over night. After searching about my problem (the next day after work) I found out about the battery replacement program and I double checked my serial number on their website to confirm that my phone was one of the devices affected by the problem. I called apple and I told the representatives about my problem, and how I've already had to have things like the charging port replaced at other local stores because of how far the closest apple store is. They transferred me to someone at the gardens store and they told me I could come in and get it fixed that night. Before hanging up I asked the gentleman if I needed to make an appointment because it's over an hour drive for me to go to the Gardens Apple store and he replied no. When I got to the Gardens store they were not expecting me and I was told that I should of made an appointment. I was finally able to sit down with someone and the first thing he told me is that my phone needs to be able to turn on in order for them to replace the battery. These geniuses must not of listened to a word I told them when describing my problem. He then tells me that they can't do anything to the phone because I had used "third party parts". The two representatives I spoke with on the phone never told me about this "policy". I was told that they can't replace the battery because they don't know if that is the problem. He couldn't even look me in the eyes when he was speaking with me. I even offered to pay for the battery if they replaced it and it was not the issue. They refused to touch the phone and said that my only option was to buy another iPhone 5 for close to $300. I walked out of the store with my broken phone and drove over an hour to go back home. After another day at work and no phone I went to a local shop that I usually go to and it took only 2 minutes and $40 for a new battery and a working phone. I have never experienced such horrible customer service and I don't plan on returning to this store or buying from...
