Simply put, this is the best old-skool, Cantonese-style Chinese food in the area - Transplants who miss their beloved restaurants from the northeast will not be disappointed. The only caveat I have is that the prices are higher here than most of its competitors. As a simple comparison, the egg rolls are bigger and tastier than many Floridian Chinese restaurants, though not outstanding. Still, it's the best I've found in the North County. And while the prices of dishes are higher, the portions and quality are far beyond many others, especially when compared to the nearby run-of-the-mill takeaway and delivery storefronts. Dishes like the Beijing style Chicken, made of crispy fried strips of white meat chicken in a spicy yet sticky sauce, and the classic Pan-fried Noodles in a savory gravy with shrimp, pork, chicken and veg over crispy and chewy noodles was as good as I've had almost anywhere (other than Chinatowns or other Chinese expat communities). Next time I return, I want to see about more authentic Chinese dishes like the Stuffed Eggplant. Finally, the restaurant is tidy, though it's age is showing a bit, and filled with rows of classic tables and booths. The walls are adorned with Asian bric-a-brac and the vaulted ceiling sports an anticipated skyview mural. The service is quite friendly, very helpful and attentive. Really, who could could ask for more!?

Horrible customer service, so I have my card locked, and when it was time to pay the bill after me and my four children dined in I put my card on the tray, I tried to unlock my card before the server came to pick it up as I got distracted by my children, and I told the guy to give me a second, he takes my card and runs to the POS system and charges my card and it declined because my card is locked, he screams out over the entire restaurant and tells me that my card declined… Trying to embarrass me … The service from the server was good but the manager or the owner whoever that is is rude as hell Cause the server got no tip because of that behavior. Then proceeded to talk trash about me and my kids on the way out the door. Coming from a server, I know exactly what it takes to give exceptional service when serving a guest. When my guest card declined, I wrote a discrete note on the receipt paper stating to provide another form of payment, so that I didn’t embarrass them in front of their family and friends. They commended me and gave me a higher tip. There are ways to do things and the way they handled me and my family was unacceptable, We will not be returning And it explains why your restaurant has a three star.

Finally--Authentic, Delicious Chinese Food in Florida! After moving to Florida from Long Island four years ago, we've been on the hunt for Chinese food that could compare to what we were used to back home. We were starting to think it didn't exist--until today! Uncle Joe's in Palm Beach Gardens absolutely blew us away, and honestly, it may be even better than what we used to get in New York. I ordered the General Tao's Chicken and my husband had the Kung Pao Chicken. Both dishes were perfectly balanced--flavorful, fresh, and just the right amount of heat and crunch. We were also served classic crispy noodles with sauce as soon as we sat down (a nostalgic touch we've missed so much), and our meals came with Wonton soup and an egg roll, all hot, satisfying, and clearly made with care. The service was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere. Uncle Joe's just might be our new go-to spot. Highly recommend if you've been craving real-deal Chinese food that hits all the right notes!

I can't comprehend how some people are giving this place more than 1 star let alone FIVE stars! In all fairness, this place deserves ZERO stars. My friend and I went to eat at this joint, from start to finish, it wasn't a pleasant experience. An older male took our order and almost rushed us to place our order. Ok, when the food arrived, I can't explain why I had a sence of disgust with the food. My fried rice had pieces of broken eggshells still in it and when I chewed the rice, it felt like I was chewing sand! The noodles and rice I am SURE, are not real! They were tasteless and a very strange texture. Water, seemed as if it was scooped out of the toilet and ice cubes placed inside to mask the tast. This place is not "non-GMO!" They DO use GMO because shortly after our regretful dinner, my friend got violently sick and continued with migraines the days that followed. Do your health a favor and stay away from here! These shamless people don't care about negative reviews, just money. And customer service is BRUTAL! In person or over...
