I’m a frequent visitor of this particular starbucks. The people are very nice, the atmosphere is great (I love to come here to do college work), and 99% of the time my drink is made perfectly. My only issue is the drive-thru. I make my purchases on the app because anytime I have ordered my drinks at the speaker or the counter, they don’t get it right (that’s most starbucks, not just here), so for me ordering through the app ensures I receive my drinks correctly. I stopped going through drive-thru because the workers would constantly complain that “I’m coming too early” despite the timing the app shows it will be ready. I tried to wait “their timing” but in doing so, my drink was watered down, so I just started picking up inside, even when I wasn’t planning to stay. Today, I didn’t feel like going in, so I figured I’d try drive-thru. My app says my order will be ready in 9-12 minutes. My app showed my order was being worked on, so I showed up to the speaker around the 9 minute mark. I was told my hot food was ready, but it had only been 9 minutes and it takes 15 minutes for mobile orders, but this time they would push through my drink order, just letting me know for “next time”. My issue is, why is my HOT food ready way before my drink? & if the app is an immediate 15 minutes, why does it show different times then they state? Ordering through the app and getting in the drive-thru line should be for “quicker” service, but yet I’d get my items “quicker” and fresh if I just placed the order at the speaker or go inside. No one wants to spend these high prices for cold food (that’s meant to be hot) and watered down drinks. Unfortunately, my “hot” food was cold, but my drink was perfect. This isn’t to knock the place, as they are overall a decent store, very friendly, and clean but I think a better system needs to be put in place for drive-thru...
Read moreI order Starbucks through Uber or go to the location 5 to 6 days a week. I ordered FOUR shots of espresso in my Java chip Venti Frappuccino. I am an espresso drinker and I like the bitter taste of the coffee. Half the time, more so lately, all of the time when I get my drink delivered to me, you can’t even taste the coffee. I order extra espresso so I know they have to put extra ice in it. Otherwise it’s very liquidy. I know the taste of espresso and the color that the drink should be, half the time the drink is more like flavored ice instead of Espresso. The color is very light. I know they fill the cup and dump the rest of it out. The espresso is probably in the blender that they dumped down the sink. I spend $500-$600 a month just at the location on RT 100. That’s a lot of money that that store will be losing. I’m going to stop using that location. There is a young African-American girl that works there. She knows who I am because I am there all the time. She is the only one that gives me the rest of the coffee in a small cup. She is wonderful. I wish she was there...
Read moreWe don't mind paying the premium for Starbucks because of the service, as much as the consistency of the products . We were not impressed at this one. Maybe lack of training from the store manager? The "barista" semed to be annoyed by a simple request for extra cream and sugar. Not acceptable to maintain the expectation of service one has from the franchise.
The other issue we noticed is that the tables were not being wiped/cleaned. We found one out of 5 available ones that was "clean enough" to sit at. As far as the facility it could also use more access to outlets for those who come with their devices - an old staple of the Starbucks atmosphere. Would I bring a client to meet me at this Starbucks as I have so many times in the past at other locations? Probably not.
The good news is that the bacon egg bites and our favorite blonde coffee...
