I would like to inform people about something that happened to me today within our palm coast community that was extremely scary. Our local tractor supply often has vendors in the parking lot offering services I went to go pick up a knife set that my brother brought to be sharpened. My brother is on the spectrum and he thought the price was 120. Come to find out it was 140 so l asked the guy when I got there if there had been an increase and if so, what for I would immediately met with hostility and anger. I was told to call my brother up on the phone because they '" had an arrangement" I told him that that was unnecessary. I would just pay with the 140 at that point he tried to tell me how he could be charging me 160 instead of 140 and overall being very disrespectful to me when all I was asking was a simple question I had no problem. I had $140 cash in my hand at this point I told him that I was going to leave him a bad review because I did not appreciate how disrespectfully he was speaking to me, that is when this vendor pulled a fake grenade out (at the time I did not know it was fake) and he said to me "how would you feel if I threw this under your car? " at this moment I was so flabbergasted I ripped out my phone to snap a picture of him because I was on the phone with my mom I immediately hung up the phone called the police and waited for the police to arrive during that time. Tractor supply employees came over to my car to inform me that this guy does this all the time to customers that question him or his pricing and that it's not real, so do not worry about it in my opinion I don't think pulling out a grenade, fake or real, and threatening to blow up someone's car is an OK thing to do. So clearly this is something that tractor supply knows about and allows to keep happening The police did not make any arrest, but did inform me that he was close to an assault charge and that this was unacceptable behavior. I do not recommend this business to anybody I think the way I was treated is very telling of the type of person he is. Below I have attached pictures of the business and of this man holding his fake grenade Iâm disappointed in tractor supply for knowing this guy is doing this and still allowing him to sell within their facility And I will be taking my...
Read moreYesterday morning I bought a Hobart welding jacket at Tractor Supply located in Palm Coast. After wearing, I washed it. When I took it out of the machine, I saw that one of the jacket joints had broken so I took the jacket back to the store the same day (one day after purchase). I spoke to John, one of the workers . He refused to replace / return the jacket, claiming somehow washing the jacket was the reason it had broken which is clearly ridiculous. I explained that in my entire load of wash, no other clothing was damaged, only the poorly made jacket I was bringing back. He then theorized that I had clearly washed the jacked more than twice and thatâs what caused the problem. Now, of course, he couldnât explain to me how he knew that it had been washed many times, or give me any plausible reason why I would have done so. I explained this made no sense - of course I didnât wash the jacket over and over again in a ONE DAY time period. I was even more surprised when he said I wasnât a liar and again stated my problem was simple, âThis is not a jacket defectâ he said. But how is that possible? Why wouldnât a 1-day old jacket that falls apart after a normal washing not be a jacket defect???? I have pairs of underwear made in China that have been washed 30 times and are in the same good shape as when I bought them. Johnâs deplorable attitude and complete lack of customer service was terrible and I am now out $31 dollars for a jacket I wore one time. Of course any manufactured item can have an issue or defect. It was truly unbelievable that I was treated as a liar instead of a valued customer. To say the least, I will...
Read moreGoing to write this while it's super fresh as in this just transpired 30 seconds ago.
So whomever the manager is on duty at 5pm on 8/12/2025; you're pretty sorry at your job.
Tractor Supply has a price matching guarantee, But there are rules meaning it has to be a Brick and mortar store.
I called to ask about deer feeders and if they would price match 2 of them for me since they were asking $50 more each per feeder over Academy Sports and outdoors which is by all means a brick and mortar store.
You could clearly tell the manager on duty didn't want to deal with it, and after waiting on hold while an NPC transferred information from between the two of us instead of picking up the phone he simply said, ughh I don't know call back in the morning and talk to the boss man Richard.
Pretty piss poor customer service Tractor Supply... For as much business As I do with you.
EDIT: Update, Called the next morning to Speak to Richard who I can only presume is the store manager. He said he would check in to it and have someone call me back; he did not "shocker".
I told my friend about this, he was in the middle of no where Florida, 10x as far away from a Academy sports and outdoors as this location.
He walked in, showed them a picture of the price of the feeder, they price matched it and he walked out with it.
Moral of the story is, corporate if you read these; you need to hire some...
