Gabby & Co. — Local services in Bunnell

This review is to point out the 5 star service that I have ALWAYS received at Gabby & Co. as well as comment to the rude and lie filled review left by Ms. Francesca Venuti. The review was left just a few hours ago. Lucky for Ms. Venuti, I was in the salon the same time she was and in the chair right next to her. I was able to witness first hand her behavior and bossiness. The best part is, while sitting next to you, my daughter and I both knew you were going to be an issue and we videoed clips of your interaction with your stylist. I am pretty sure there are cameras in the salon as well to show ALL the work that was done. Gabby's girls are artists and take their job and customers happiness very seriously. At NO TIME did you ever say you were unhappy with your hair. In fact, you "oooh'd and ahhh'd" over it. You came in with 6+ inches of roots that needed to be colored and corrected from cheap box dye. You also wanted the hair to be JET BLACK. On top of that you had vibrant teal and purple extensions that you wanted added in. Again, YOU LOVED the extensions and the color. Gabby at one point left her client to assist with you and made sure your tape ins were exactly where you liked them. They even went outside to see the natural light and the inside light. Again, you were so happy with them and mentioned getting them for your birthday celebration. Never once did you say anything when you paid and in fact came back to your stylist and handed her a cash tip. Normally when someone is unhappy with service, they do not make it a point to come back in and tip the stylist in front of everyone. Also, when you called back in, Gabby was never rude or disrespectful to you. If I am not mistaken, YOU hung up on her. Now I cannot comment on the events that were mentioned in the beginning of Ms. Venuti's review BUT I will respond with the same response I would to a spoiled brat. SHOW YOUR WORK! Where are the pictures? Where is the proof that there was no curl, no color, etc, etc. In fact, I will bet that never happened either. Ms. Venuti came to a salon filled with artists who are exceptionally skilled at their craft. If she wanted a budget cut and style, there are plenty of Hair Cuttery's and Great Clips all around. I am new to the area and my neglected, grown out balayage needed revival ASAP. I found Gabby & Co and asked for someone who was very good with blonde and balayage and they set me up that same day for a consultation with Monique. I have never had a salon actually do a consult with me, this was the first green flag!

Monique was welcoming and kind and took the time to address exactly what I wanted before we even booked anything. I was able to get in with her for the actual appointment a few days later. The salon is clean and lively, prices are pretty good, and all of the staff was friendly and warm.

I am super picky with my hair, but Monique really made me feel like myself again! I am so happy with my blonde and I've already booked a follow up appointment. She is fantastic, my hair looks and feels great, and whatever she did during the blowout is holding up great in the Florida humidity.

I'd also like to highlight their nail services - the pedicure I got was actually relaxing and I was not made to feel rushed out the door at all. The tech really took her time with me and all of the nail tools were clean...

I know how important it is as a previous business owner to get great Google reviews. I'm reluctant to give my 5 star because then everyone will want to go here and it will make it harder for me to get an appointment...but I cannot lie! I chose them due to the great reviews and they did not disappoint. I used Aubrey to help me start the process of letting my hair go to it's natural (looks like) salt & pepper color. For over 4 years I have been trying this process in Texas & Arkansas only to get blonde bleach blonde hair in an "attempt" to make it look gray. Aubrey knocked it out of the park...great color...cut it exactly like the picture I showed her (2nd time to cut me) and I think I will like this journey of going to natural gray. It's hard to find a hair salon willing to let their customer "go gray" or even knows how to do it. 5+ on this service. ...
