I had a really bad issue with one of the waitresses last night with being nasty, screaming at me “yea you better run out of here” after discriminating against my autistic 2 1/2 year old, and my friend who is heavy set. I have a 0% tip, and usually I’m someone who gives a 20% or more based off of your service. The manager Tommy came out immediately to fix the problem and the waitress decided to come out and start another problem. I go here often and never have any other issues. That person truly just needs to get fired. I’ve never felt so disrespected, and I know it was a Friday night. I’m ok with slow service, and needing to ask for drinks to get refilled. I get it, you’re busy. But being nasty, rolling your eyes, giving us attitude, and serving my heavy set friend the appetizers she ordered and her meal at the same time assuming that all of that was only for HER meal and not for all of us to share is rude. Especially because my husband and I had ordered an appetizer at the same time she did. Fat shaming, not cool. Being nasty to an innocent nonverbal, autistic child who is learning to be out and about because he was born during the covid closures is also just wrong. The manager Tommy did a great job trying to fix the problem. Again, I NEVER have issues here and usually I get a short lady with black hair that can remember your order without her tablet, but today I came on a Friday. I understand people get stressed. Me too, but disrespecting someone, screaming at them across the store and embarrassing them is disgusting. If I were the manager she would be fired for ruining the companies reputation. If you make mistakes that’s ok, but what she was doing all night was BEYOND accidental. NOTE: I will still be going here, but if you have an issue notify management immediately. The managers will immediately fix your issue. Truly the best management team ever, but you can’t control peoples actions. Some people are ignorant and don’t deserve the job they were offered. Thankfully the management team and other staff try to fix problems wherever they can. Read moreI was at this location on December 6th and it was a horrible experience. There was 3 of us and my order was all messed up. My order wasn't difficult, a medium well bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, mayo, onion and cheese fries with bacon and sour cream. I got a hockey puck bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo on the side and cheese fries with no bacon and no sour cream. They were not terribly busy, no wait upon entering. The waitress was ok nothing spectacular, seemed annoyed with us. The manager did comp us my meal and our appetizer. That was the least they could have done considering the kitchen got everything I ordered for my meal wrong.
Well fast forward to December 21st. I got a gift card from a child at work for Applebee's so we gave it another shot in hopes it would be better. And let me tell you it was complete opposite! We did have a 15 minute wait so they were busier then the previous visit. The server Lonnie (not positive on spelling) was incredible. Stayed on top of our table wants and needs, was very personable, knowledgeable and pleasant. He teased me about not finishing my ribs that I was hungry for and I body shamed myself then he gave me a compliment which was sweet. Read moreSo we come to Applebee’s almost every Saturday for late snacks and drinks and never had a problem before, my cousin who is 28 came to the country 3 weeks ago and she has come whit us twice already and no problems what so ever, now in this third time we where unfortunately getting a “racist” waitress (we are Hispanics) who denied her proof of ID which is understanding beacuse is in Spanish even tho her age and picture is there, and requested a passport instead which my cousin had in hand because her visa is there so she carries it at all times, but then she denied a PASSPORT even tho it’s an “international proof of ID”, we call out for the manager to maybe fix the problem but he didn’t had any idea of what he was saying. They basically denied the service they provide supposedly because they can not run it in the computer like if that’s any of our problem, they should update their way to do things because how can you say no to someone who’s visiting the country on vacation?
