O2 Valley — Restaurant in Palo Alto

This place IS most likely going on my Top 10 list out of places to dine at in Palo Alto 😋. I brought my daughter here to try and she loved it.

We ordered R7 which was the deep fried pork bento box. We also ordered the 8 pc sesame balls (like a deep fried mochi ball stuffed with red bean) and 2 milk tea bobas with regular sweet and regular ice.

The bento box R7 we ordered was delicious. The deep fried pork was super tender yet a nice bite (crunch) to it if you like texture. The seasoning was not spicy (personal preference) and was very tasty, it has a little sauce on it.

Rice was nice and moist with pork bites ontop, also very tasty. It is a great side to have. 🤤

Broccoli was perfectly steamed, not over cooked and not under cooked... Good job guys! 👍🏽

The sweet and sour pork was also delicious. It had a good amount of sauce and the portion size was perfect along with a delicious hardboiled egg. The egg was flavorful, looks like the marinade it over night.

The service was AMAZING!!! My daughter and I wanted to try this place out for ourselves and upon entering we were greeted by a lovely woman who was so welcoming and helpful. We aren't Asian by a long shot so having it be our first time in, she made us feel so welcomed and was so helpful as well. I saw other ethnic people enjoying 02 Valley as well. It shows that their food and service are very enjoyable that all types of people from different backgrounds dine there as well.

I recommend this place to everyone who loves good food in...

Growing up in Palo Alto it was always difficult to see restaurant staples leave due to being priced out. Most of the time these places would be replaced with generic dining establishments which limited the diversity of cuisine in the neighborhood.

O2 valley brings a new wave of oomph to Palo Alto. A taste of authentic Taiwanese cuisine in a small but open and inviting environment.

There is a plethora of options ranging from bento boxes, 100-layer tofu, and a lemon aloe drink (simple and a little plain but it ticks all my boxes). Honestly, writing about this place can only do so much. I highly encourage anyone who is hesitant or stubborn (like myself) to bite the bullet and come on...

STRAIGHT BUSSERY. HAM SLAMMA JAMMA. Basil popcorn chicken; slaps. Thai spicy chicken; banger. Fried chicken; stellar. Milk tea; delicious.

We ordered 2 bento boxes and 1 box of chicken and 1 side of rice. Each of these could have fed two people comfortably.

The bento boxes were PACKED with chicken. There was chicken under the chicken. And about a cup of rice. It was a coma inducing amount of food. One didn’t get finished. So if you’re concerned about bang for your buck… don’t be.

The box of chicken was also packed. Chicken for days. Like a large takeout size/amount of chicken. Side was a cup of rice.

New place as far as I know hope the portions ...
