Terrible First and Last Experience
We had a horrible experience at T’s on Thomas Bar & Kitchen while on vacation. We ordered two 20-piece wings (lemon pepper and buffalo) and two large fries. Before ordering, we specifically asked if the wings were breaded and were told by the new owner that they were not. After waiting an hour, our order was finally handed to us—all bagged up and tied shut, so we couldn't check it.
When we got back to the house and opened the containers, we were shocked. The wings were undercooked and looked like they were boiled in oil, not fried. Also the "blue cheese" had a bad smell and was yellow. The fries were clearly small orders thrown into large containers, not what we paid for.
We returned to the restaurant expecting the issue to be resolved—but instead we were told:
-They couldn't cook the wings longer because they were already "plated."
-They couldn't replace them because they would come out looking exactly the same.
-And we couldn't get a refund because "chicken costs too much to remake."
So we paid $70 for cold, undercooked food and rude customer service. We were asked what we needed the food for. I told him we got in town late and the food is to make sure our children ate. We told " we gave you food!" Then told the wings are fried for 18 minutes—either that’s not true or they’re doing it wrong, because this was not properly cooked chicken.
We were first-time customers, and this will absolutely be the last time. We warned our friends who came there also not to order the wings. Then owner also threaten to keep the food we paid for and not replace the fries for telling them. If you care about quality food or customer service,...
Read moreT's is a new addition to the pool leagues, in name only as the building it resides in has been several other names over the years. They have 3 pool tables, plenty of room to move around, and the food gets better everytime I try it. Staff is friendly and eager to show why T's is a great spot for shooting some pool, grabbing a bite or having a drink or three! One of only 2 places I know of that pool is a dollar per game. The other is Annie's hideaway. Plus on Fridays, buy a lunch plate and pool is free all day! Had to plug them because it's a cool place with folks who really work hard to provide value to the cudtomer. Update: they have added robustly to their menu, to include more dinner options and breakfast...
Read moreGranted this was bike week but still no reason for an Extremely rude inside bartender. Watched her upset at minimum 10 different people. The manger or maybe the owner was very nice and truly worked to help fix issues but was swamped. Outside beer tub/food staff was excellent. Personal had a great time with the bands, know most of them. Only reason for 2 stars is the inside bartender. When people stop buying drinks during bike week places stop making the much needed extra $. I feel if it was not for the great band, Frank Fletcher and friends, This place would have lost alot of customers. At least 20 of our group saying the same thing. Overall yes I will be back. But won't stay if we are being served with an attitude...
