We were really looking forward to an early dinner here. We arrived at 4:40, and they were only seating people at the tables in the open area, alongside the casino, bar, and shops. The person in front of me asked the hostess when they open the “indoor” area and was told at 5:00. I was pleased because this area is loud and lots of people pass by while you’re eating. The indoor area is more private and appears to be a pleasant dining experience. When the hostess got to us I asked if I’d heard her say the inside opens at 5:00. She acted extremely annoyed that I had asked and started shaking her head with a scowl saying, “No, no, no! Besides, you don’t want to wait that long anyway!” I replied that I was most definitely willing to wait 20 minutes for a quieter table. Instead, she sat us at the first table immediately behind her stand and the main entrance. Sure enough, 5:00 on the dot she started telling all the staff she was opening the inside! This felt very manipulative to me. As for the food, it was ok. The shrimp in my Alfredo was slightly undercooked. Our two meals were most definitely not worth what we paid. And this was after they removed the sodas from our bill. Both glasses of soda come out flat. When I asked for new soda, the waitress immediately said we wouldn’t have to pay for them, but there was no one there to change the line on the machine. I continued to watch them bring drinks out to all the other tables. I asked if the machine was now fixed. The waitress said, “No! I told you I can’t change the line!” I asked why they were continuing to serve and have guests pay for flat soda. She told me she was just giving the customer what they wanted. FLAT SODA?! I saw others ask the people at their table if the soda tasted weird, but if you didn’t say anything to the server, they kept bringing it out and kept charging. Between the dishonest hostess and waitstaff, and the overpriced undercooked meals, we won’t be returning. We really wanted to love this place, but don’t. *The photo is from my visit last month when everything was less crowded. This time, every table was full and the breakfast wait had a line that wrapped around to the next restaurant.

Horrible service, but good food. A convenient place to dine while in the Paris or Horseshoe hotel. The prices are a bit high but I will say that the food was good. I ordered the Chicken Brasa bowl and the Double Smash Burger. The Chicken Brasa bowl was a decent portion so it sort of made up for the $28 price tag. Too expensive but at least the portion size was good. It was a colorful bowl with a bit of everything. I appreciated that the cilantro rice actually tasted like cilantro versus just being green colored rice. The only issue with this dish was that it was a bit dry. It comes with jalapeno ranch dressing but it's so little you don't even notice it. As for the Double Smash Burger, it was very flavorful but I ate it without the top bun being that the bread was very dense and thick. The fries were tasty but they were VERY limp. They weren't overly oily or anything but just limp. I think they may have had them made earlier and then had them sitting under a heat lamp. The service was the main reason for the lowered rating. The service was HORRIBLE. When I got there, there was a line of about a dozen people. Fortunately, they had a separate line for certain tiered rewards level. I was able to cut the line but the hostess was very rude. No greeting at all and when I asked about seating, she said that nothing was available except for the bar. I have no issues with sitting at the bar but shortly afterwards, she sat all the others in line. How is it that there were no tables available but yet, not 5 minutes later, she sits the dozen or so guests waiting in line? And no, it was not one big group. Fritz was the bartender/server that helped me and he was horrible. He only needs to walk around bar to find me. It's not a big bar and it's an enclosed area. Yet, he was did not ONCE check in on me or refill my water during my meal. NOT ONCE! You can't miss me. If it wasn't for the horrible service, I would rate Cafe Americano higher but it was just too much to ignore.

I honestly was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the food looked good, but was a bit disappointed. Our server kept answers short in a quiet voice and serious manner, which made us feel uneasy to ask questions. When she brought our drinks, my boyfriend’s orange juice glass was dirty. He said it tasted water down (Look at the small cup they serve on top of that with no free refills). We were unable to get a new glass right away as our server rarely did rounds. She also messed up on our order when she wrote it down (we order simple things; asked for chocolate chip pancakes got buttermilk). When the food was brought out by someone else, I asked him if it was the correct item I ordered and he said no and apologized. He also offered to bring out the correct order or to bring it on the side but I knew I would not finish all the food nor did I want to wait another half hour, so I stuck with the buttermilk pancakes. At first I thought it was the chefs error, but realized that it was her mistake based off of the receipt and she did not even notice that my food was wrong. The potatoes were good but when I asked how they were made, she said that they were premade. My boyfriend liked his French toast bites as for my pancakes they tasted a bit bland, and the top pancake was a little bit crunchy. From the looks of it, it’s seemed as if they were overstaffed with servers, and maybe understaffed in the kitchen, as our server was just standing around the counter a majority of the time with other workers and the food took a good while. The restaurant was not too busy when we arrived. Almost forgot to mention, it smelled like garbage which made it more unpleasant. Overpriced based off quality. Music did not match scenery if you’re into that.

Had a very bad experience here for our wedding rehearsal lunch. Getting in touch with someone in the first place was difficult. It took days for replies and contact. That should have been our first sign. They couldn't guarantee how we'd be seated...very different from every other restaurant in Vegas we'd talked to. Only that we'd be seated at "multiple tables next to each other" with 20 people. This made planning seats difficult. We'd asked for our selected bar menu to be included on the printed menu, it was not. So it was very awkward for guests to know what they could order and what was included. We gave a name and contact for the bill as well, and they totally disregarded that.

The initial manager that we came into contact with was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, he was nowhere to be found once our meal started. Our waiter seemed very impatient, rushed, and was not personable to talk to most of the time. It seemed inconvenient to ask him for anything.

The server took orders in a manner that seemed acceptable, however, he auctioned off food items once they were ready to be served. Having worked in restaurants, this was extremely unprofessional, especially when working with different temperatures of meats and not everyone remembering if they ordered medium-rare or medium. He did not keep a record of who ordered what. There was a salad that I (the bride) guessed where it went, and he found out it went somewhere else 10 minutes later because I had guessed wrong and was very rude to me about it. My vegan guest's meal came out well after everyone else's and not much apology was issued, even though she ordered when everyone else did and we noted a vegan would be there with the person who "planned" the event.

After the food was eaten, he presented the bill to the wrong person. We got that situated, however, he could not answer our question about our deposit we had put down. The manager was nowhere to be found, for at least 20 minutes while we waited on an answer about our bill, causing confusion among our guests and unnecessary confusion and another manager that was found was not understanding of our bad experience and did not seem apologetic. I sent a request to get with someone to let them know of our experience and I was told several times someone would be "in touch" and it's been a month and no one has contacted me.

Absolutely awful service. The food was ok, the only saving grace. Would not go here again and would not recommend for parties for special occasions,...

Me and my friends wanted to eat in “Paris” so badly and saw that the cafe was relatively empty and in a good location so we assumed it would be fast. It took 8 minutes for someone to come over and talk to us and ask if we wanted coffee or tea, and another 5 for us to even get water. After we got our water we asked a host if we could see our server who we still hadn’t seen. It had started taking so long we started timing it just to see how bad it could get. Another 14 minutes after we got water the server came up for the first time to the table, didn’t apologize or say anything about the menu and just started taking orders. My friend clarified afterwards what her order was, and the entire thing was completely wrong. When the drinks finally came out another 10 minutes later, my sister received the wrong drink and when we told our waiter, he didn’t say anything, rolled his eyes quite visibly, and it took another 10 minutes for her to receive her correct drink (a Bellini by the way). It took 35 minutes from when we ordered to get our food after we already had complained to a manager, who said he would come check on us before the bill arrived, and we never saw him again. The food was not good and within our entire party of 9 no one even ate half of it. I ordered Cesar and chicken noodle soup and the soup tasted worse than any canned soup I’ve ever had. No one checked on the food at all, not even our server.

All of my party are servers and we are aware that we can’t blame every issue on each individual, but I have never seen worse service in my entire life. The staff was inattentive and did not apologize for any mistake. When the bill was brought out we asked to see the same manager but he was nowhere to be found, and another manager had to be grabbed. So many things had gone wrong he just comped our entire bill, which was incredibly nice and we were thankful, but disappointed that had to be the case. I hope the service and food improves because it’s an amazing little spot and a...
