Disappointing Experience at Chipotle: Poor Management and Subpar Service

My recent visit to this Chipotle location left much to be desired, primarily due to the lack of professionalism and courtesy exhibited by the manager, Brenda. From the moment I entered, it was evident that the restaurant was not up to standard.
Brenda’s demeanor was anything but polite or helpful; in fact, her lack of managerial skills was strikingly apparent. When I raised concerns about the amount of protein she gave was less than other chipotle’s across the country. Meanwhile the meat station was untidy and not stocked. The presentation not like other branches I have visited. When I seen the next persons order it was apparent that Brenda picked and choose who she’d preferred. My response to her when I noticed the disparity she was dismissive and unapologetic. It was disappointing to see someone in a leadership role fail to address customer concerns with care and attention.
Fortunately, amidst this disappointing experience, there was a glimmer of hope in the form of cashier Samantha. Despite the chaotic atmosphere and Brenda’s lack of leadership, Samantha went out of her way to assist me and ensure that my order was handled properly. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to help were a stark contrast to the overall ambiance of the restaurant.
Overall, my experience at this Chipotle location was subpar. From the unprofessional behavior of the manager to the lack of basic amenities like napkins, it’s clear that improvements are needed to elevate the customer experience. I hope that management takes these concerns seriously and implements changes to ensure that future guests receive the quality service...
Read moreI went to Panera a few doors down and the employees saw me but didn't go to the register for 4 minutes so I left and walked over to Chipotle, a restaurant I have never been to before. I was quickly greeted by 3 employees who were hard at work but took a moment to smile and say hello. I looked at the meat selections and they were all kinda dried out looking but the sides all looked pretty good. Then I noticed the beef and it had juices in it and looked really fresh so I chose that and the server helped me choose some popular toppings. It totalled $10.85 and was a HUGE PORTION! And it was really good! The manager was very calmly and politely dealing with a grumpy customer and the cashier thanked me for coming in, and for waiting a sec to pay (which was hardly any time at all). Very kind, polite, friendly staff! 5 stars for staff and 4 stars for the tables being dirty. I was one of 3 customers and the tables had not been cleaned but I managed to find one that looked okay. However, there was someone cleaning the soda machine and then swept the floor. Tables were left dirty my whole 30 minutes inside. 4 stars for the food because, although my beef was very good, the other meats did not look appetizing and I would have left if the beef also looked like the other choices. I visited at 5pm on 9/18/24 and it says my host is William, although I was only helped by women. Kudos for a busy fast food spot for making me feel welcome, and enjoying my meal. Oh! Nylah and another employee made faces at each other when the customer ahead of me didn't understand English well. I began my order with a burrito, 3 kid's taco kit, and 1 kids quesadilla kit. She started on burrito, then stopped to make 1 taco kit then looked upset when I reminded her I wanted 3 kids taco + the quesadilla kit. I had to repeat myself multiple times, which was fine, but she looked pissed when I repeated myself. I asked for steak and the employees stated they didn't have steak. I asked how long would it be until the steak is ready. Nylah rolled her eyes then turned around to the employee behind her who was cutting the steak and asked how long it would be. He said it was ready already. She mumbled something to another employee and walked away! As the other employee finished the order I asked him what was the name of the employee helping us. When she eventually returned he told her in Spanish that I asked for her name. They were suprised when I responded in Spanish as well.
The checkout employee overstuffed (stuff literally falling out) one bag with all our food and was upset when I asked for another bag. Our meals came with chips and drinks, and again, the employee made a face when I asked for the chips and drinks that came with our meals.
The food was not much better either. The chicken was overcooked. The steak had a lot of fat. They gave light portions. The chips were not thoroughly cooked.
