Le Café Central is the newest addition to the exceptional lineup from the talented owners of Café Du Val, and it lives up to every bit of the high standard they’ve set. Conveniently located just off the 215 on Spring Mountain Road, this charming café is minutes from the Strip and right near Chinatown, making it easily accessible with plenty of parking available.
From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a stunning ambiance that blends modern sophistication with classic French charm. The interior is decorated with rich cerulean blue tones complemented by tasteful accents of gold and yellow. The industrial ceiling features a darker blue hue that pairs beautifully with elegant chandeliers, adding a soft, glamorous glow throughout the space. Luxurious velvet booths, stylish table seating, and striking yellow velvet stools at the bar create a warm yet upscale atmosphere. The fabric wallpaper adds a refined texture to the walls, completing the space with a sophisticated flair.
The service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and extremely accommodating with our special meal requests. They were attentive and efficient without being intrusive, exactly what you hope for in a dining experience.
As for the food, it was every bit as excellent as what you’d find at their original cafés. The fresh fruit was vibrant and flavorful, the house-made croissants were flaky on the outside and soft on the inside, simply divine. The pain au chocolat was decadent, with the chocolate melting perfectly in every bite. The coffee? Robust, aromatic, and expertly brewed just as we’ve come to expect from the Café Du Val family.
Café Central is a beautiful evolution of an already beloved brand. It’s clear that the same heart, attention to detail, and culinary passion have gone into this new location. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Café Du Val or discovering them for the first time, Café Central is a must-visit. Highly...
Read moreMy wife brought me here after seeing the TikTok reviews. As a trained graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, this knocks the ball out the park so to speak. Everything is arranged very nicely. Staff was very friendly and helped us to make some delicious choices. I knew immediately I wanted the short rib sandwich. The short rib was cooked down to tender pull apart, the funky cheese complimented it very well while the spicy giardiniera peppers and arugula brought it all together. The accompanying salad had a very good lemon vinaigrette with it that was surprisingly fresh. Wish I had pictures of it but ate it that fast. Got a matcha latte to wash it down and wake me up and it was “real” matcha used for sure. Will be back once a month for sure.
Updates: Went back for breakfast and obviously I can afford it. So why did the cashier look at us uninterested like they are just gonna order a pastry. Then when I start adding stuff and my bill is like $100 he wants to get all nice and friendly? He hands me all my stuff and holds the silverware close to his chest as I run my card like he was waiting to see if it would clear before giving me the silverware. Like I get it’s an upscale kinda place, but I can clearly read and know how to add. The only reason I tipped was because the rest of the people involved in my food making and serving were excellent. That guy needs a retraining in customer and not being rude or needs to find somewhere else to work. I will go back but I’m not dealing with them and anymore, and if it continues with his judgmental attitude I can go...
Read moreThis is my second visit. And some food is literally phenomenal (like salmon toast or French dip sandwich), and other items are a complete fail. For example, Bacon Benedict - it's not even Benedict, there's no Hollandaise sauce at all. Very plain! Extremely underwhelming! Or Roclette Crepe. Wayyyyyy too heavy on the cheese. I couldn't taste bacon, potatoes or eggs which are all in this crepe because there was so much cheese (roclette is pretty strong flavored, it's NOT your mild Swiss), so the cheese overpowered everything else! I couldn't eat it. So that's food. Hit or miss basically.
Drinks - consistently THE WORST drinks I've ever had in any café or restaurant. Second visit here, different drinks each time, plus I sampled my gf's beverages too - they're always WATERED DOWN and FLAVORLESS. My basic coffee at home taste better and fuller. And that's saying something cus I prefer drinking coffee anywhere but home!
The atmosphere is pretty good. Whoever decorated this place did a good job because it's very cozy and inviting. I just wish someone occasionally came to clear out the plates. Often you're done eating and not ready to leave yet, and sitting at a dirty table is simply unpleasant.
So there you go, a very detailed and honest review based on 2...
