Gelato Bar — Restaurant in Nevada

Big Thanks to Ally n Jacob for making me feel welcome and making me a return customer For Sure!!!! 😁😉 This was my first time here at The Gelato Bar on Spring Mountain and Valley View where I was expecting to get some really good Gelato, but little did I know I had just walked into my new Favorite dessert place!! I was greeted by Jacob who was Super friendly and wanted me to sample every flavor (which I did LOl) until I landed on the Cheesecake Gelato Mmmm!!! I chose a crepe to go with it as well and Jacob explained to me that the crepe came with 2 fruits insides and 2 different sauces, finished off with powder sugar and of course whipped cream!!!! I went with double fresh cut banana in my crepe as well as double Carmel sauce on the inside and outside with Extra whipped cream on top. The Cheesecake Gelato came on the side in its own container although they do offer to scoop it right on top of the crepe as well. Ally was the one making the actual crepes and I loved how she took her time to make it absolutely perfect! Jacob n Ally both had great conversation and made me feel so welcome from the moment I walked in to the door all the way up until they gave me my order and I was leaving. Needless to say I will DEFINITELY be back. The Gelato Bar is a must while in Vegas and Absolutely for locals as well.

After doing some research on the best gelato places in Vegas, this place showed up. It said that it was fresh, and it was original. The second part might be true since I haven't tasted anything like it.

I was expecting a more realistic italian-style gelato, but instead was disappointed with the quality of the product I was served.

I understand that you can't replicate the exact type of gelato that comes from Italy, but I was hoping this would come close. I couldn't have been more wrong. The consistency of the gelato, mixed with the taste brought in an undoubtedly original, but distasteful surprise.

I should've sampled more flavours, but I landed on coconut and mango. The coconut did have a coconut flavour, but the overall consistency was very off. If I had just gotten this flavour I would be disappointed, but not disgusted. It wasn't until the mango where I had to stop eating. I'm not sure what flavouring they were using, but I can assure you it was not Mango. I was disappointed as I assumed the "fresh" included "fresh fruit".

On a plus side, the staff was very friendly and really tried to make our experience count. Put them in front of good-quality gelato, and I would be back.

They make the gelato in house which is important to us. They also have more flavors than what is on display. My husband had a scoop each of pistachio and strawberries. I had pineapple and a scoop of raspberry. They put ice in our bag to keep the gelato cold until we got home. We could tell fresh ingredients were used. Be aware that anyplace that uses fresh ingredients that each batch is unique. Each had chunks of fruit or nuts corresponding to their flavors. The pistachio didn't have any artificial color or flavor added. It was not as strong as the gelatos in Sicily, but my husband said with every spoonful it got better. The strawberries were yummy. The pineapple almost tasted like a fresh take on dolewhip. The winner last night was the raspberry! The freshness mixed with the creamy was,amazing! We loved that you can taste the flavors and not be over powered by too much sugar. *fresh ingredients *friendly staff *lived in Sicily, pistachio was milder here. *fruit flavors were awesome....
