I was in Vegas about 2 weeks ago and had a craving for some vietnamese cuisine and wanted to get away from all these American offerings on the strip.
I searched "pho place near me" on Google and this placed popped up. Literally the closest pho place on the strip bc it was conveniently located right next to the Encore. We didnt even need a taxi! It was about a 5 minute walk from the strip.
When we walked through the doors it had a colorful yet tamed ambiance with a splash of fun and a radiant selection of art capturing the true essence of the beauty of vietnam. We were greeted with a warm smile by one of the owners. I think his name is Andrew. We sat down, ordered 3 bowls of pho and I have to say, the broth is on point and tempered perfectly. The meatballs were sooooo goood. They make em fresh everyday I was told. The banh mi is loaded with nice cold cuts and they definitely didnt skimp out on the meat. Oh, we also ordered a side of chicken wings that were nicely glazed and topped with scalloons which was a nice touch!
We were so pleased with the meal, we had to ask who's in the kitchen and wanted to give compliments to the chef, so the owner went to get his co owner Tony from the kitchen and he too came out with a warm smile and asked us if we enjoyed our meal. We sure did.
Id have to say the vibes were on point and the hospitality was beyond. I definitely recommend this place to all my peeps headed to Vegas with a hangover cure in mind. That broth will bring you back to life! We topped it off with some vietnamese Crack coffee which gave us the energy to continue on.
All I can say is this establishment did us right. A great place for a pit stop amonst all your Vegas adventures. You definitely want to add this place to your hit list. The customer service was A1. Family friendly environment and definitely a cool spot for a photo opp. Big thank you to this establishment for the experience and we...
Read moreWent to Pho You and Mi for the first time yesterday and I was blown away. It's in a little tourist mall across from Resorts World and near Tacos El Gordo.
My first impression when walking through the door was the cool street market vibe with the hanging lanterns - it's colorful and whimsical.
There were a lot of choices on the menu. My friend and I decided to sample 3 of the banh mi along with the steak and egg plate and some egg rolls. The banh mi were absolutely incredible. The French rolls were pillowy and warm in the center and crunchy outside. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. Most importantly, the meats were well seasoned, smoky from the grill, and absolutely succulent. The lemongrass and works sandwiches were great, but the grilled pork was incredible. The steak and eggs came on a sizzling platter like fajitas and was served with a warm roll, so you could assemble your sandwich on demand. The platter also had grilled onions and pate. When I scooped a combination of the ingredients onto the roll and took a bite, I was in steak & eggs heaven. The egg rolls were served with lettuce, carrot and daikon, and dipping sauce. They were savory, crispy, and delicious.
The only negative comment I can make is that with all the banh mi and egg rolls we ordered, I had no room for pho. I'll definitely be trying that next time. Cannot recommend this place...
Read moreGreat service & friendly staff. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We didn't have to wait very long for someone to take our order, and the food didn't take super long to arrive either.
I ordered a Grilled Pork Bahn Mi sandwich and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The Bahn Mi was so flavorful. It was love at first bite. It felt as if I was on vacation on an island, eating bbq. Take me back to Paradise! Best Bahn Mi sandwich I've tried in Las Vegas so far. The iced coffee was stronger than others that I've had, but I like it. I love bold flavors and theses items didn't disappoint.
This place appeared to be spacious with comfortable seating. And the colorful decor in the sky was giving me the ocean eyes. The place wasn't too noisy. The staff, welcoming and friendly.
I didn't mind spending $14.95 for a sandwich, because the product and service was really good, This is a rare combination in Las Vegas. Worth...
