Really sad that businesses take advantage of ppl like they do these days. This is a budget hotel...meaning ppl go here to save money or because they don't have money. I booked online through groupon which didnt have a lot of details. When I got there...A. they charge a 15.00 fee to check in before 3. But that's not the worse part of my experience. I am all the way from Texas. My bank card is a temporary card. So the 50.00 deposit wouldn't authorize (per the manager, although I didn't have this problem at previous hotels) I stood there and called the bank in front of the manager. I had 130.00 on my card. She basically told me to take 100 of cash, and I could pay my deposit that way. To which I replied, well then I wouldn't be able to eat, or drive, etc. (I would be here a week with 30 to my name!. I left broke, frustrated, and pretty mad. I called groupon to see about getting my money back. They said it was simple, if the hotel would agree. Well needless to say the hotel manager said no and kept my money. I just really can't believe businesses are so heartless these days. I've been in my car for three days now. But I'm okay. I know what goes around comes back around and the company and manager will reap what they sow!!!

I have stayed at this hotels while attending conventions in Las Vegas many times. It's very convenient to the LVCC and there are decent restaurants within walking distance. That said, I don't think I can recommend it anymore. It has been going downhill since part of it was converted to residential. They just don't seem as concerned about the normal hotel customer as they used to be. While I had not problems on my recent say, I was very concerned about security. The main hotel building has three access doors after the office closes. The lock on one of the doors was broken - leaving it open to anyone. One of the other doors had large gaps around the latch and it could easily have been opened with a screwdriver. It was clear that someone had tried to break into my room (not while I was there). In addition, the door latch was missing a screw. and the door fit was not the best- making it less secure. It was also clear that someone had tried to break into the safe in the room. I really though about leaving this review because of my many good experiences at this hotel, but two months on I just couldn't get it out of my head. The room was clean and the bed was fine, but the security bothered me.

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend of May 24-25 and had an extremely unpleasant and unacceptable experience. When we checked into our room, I was shocked to find a smear of feces on the bathroom sink. This is completely unsanitary and disturbing. I initially thought it might have just been a stain or permanent mark — especially since the toilet seat was sealed — but there was a foul smell coming from that side of the bathroom, which confirmed it was something much worse. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk, expecting them to resolve the matter professionally. Instead, someone came up and simply wiped the sink using one towel — no room change, no sincere apology, and no offer of compensation whatsoever. They treated it like a minor inconvenience rather than a serious hygiene issue. I followed up with both an email and phone call, but have received no response. I find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Not only was the condition of the room appalling, but the total lack of responsibility or customer care afterward made it even worse. I would strongly advise others to reconsider staying here, as this kind of neglect and poor service is simply inexcusable.

WORST HOTEL(Motel)I STAYED AT...I STAYED HERE FOR 16 DAYS ON VACATION. I PAID ABOUT $100 A NIGHT FOR A KING BEDROOM SUITE WITH KITCHENETTE IN THE FRONT HOTEL SECTION. First of all, I would not recommend this place unless it is a last resort for only 1-2 nights. Yes, the units were recently remodeled just like the pictures with the black and gray carpet. However, the rooms are small and you will feel like u are in someones basement. The bed is very uncomfortable and very springy, which made my back sore. The only window is placed up high above the wall heater. Moreover, the wall heater only works on low heat setting and takes a while to heat up the room. The room will either get too hot or too cold so be prepared to constantly fool with the heater knob. Also, there is only one light switch that operates the seven bright light fixtures in the ceiling. This is way too bright and there is no dimmer switch connected to the switch outlet, which is a missed opportunity. It only costs $30.00 to add a romantic dimmer switch. I do not understand why the management does not offer cheap table lamps as it will save money on electric by not having to keep 7 bright light fixtures on when the guests need light. You will have to beg them for a table lamp. Or, u might have to go buy one yourself. There is a light in the bathroom but it is on a sensor switch that will auto shut off and on by body movement. Finally and worst of all, the dam water pressure in the shower sucks and the water will go burning hot to freezing cold while you are taking a shower. Be prepared to constantly hold and make adjustments to the shower knobs with one hand, while you take a shower. This is the worst in the morning because the plumbing can not handle more than 1 shower running at a time. As a tip, I recommend that you take your shower late at night to avoid the water pressure drizzling issue. Also, the toilets leak water all over the floor. The remodelers chose to use laminate for the bathroom floor instead of tile and it was a horrible install. Looks like a 3 year old glued a floor down. The floor is going to rot out and warp in no time. Who needs these hassles when you are paying $100 a night? Who manages these suites? Also, if you want wifi, you will need to pay the front desk $6.00 for internet streaming or $12.00 for high speed down loading or watching movies, per week. However, the wifi does not work in the rooms, lol. So you just wasted $6.00 on wifi. They will tell you to complain to a third party phone number if there is a problem(ahead of time)as a hint because they know the wifi does not work in the rooms. I also found out that there are 80 rooms in the back which is called their extended stay weekly rooms. This is great if you are desperate for a place to stay weekly. They are the same updated rooms like the hotel with kitchenette and even has a stove. These units are $250.00 a week which is less than half the price of the hotel. However, they do not include towel service or sheets for the bed. If you are willing to go to walgreens a block away and grab a couple towels and sheets than you can save over $300 a week staying in the back. Fyi, neither the hotel units or the extended stay units in the back have pots and pans, utensils or anythng else. The laundry room was supposed to be open at 8:00am and I carried a huge trash bag of clothes there at 11:00am only to find out it was frickkin locked!!! God dam it!! I called the front desk and no one even answered the phone. So I had to carry my laundry bag all the way back to the front where my room was, which was far. Overall, the big plus is that the whole complex is pet friendly, there is a safe in the room, and you are within walking distance to Walgreens, a couple take out food places, and the Wynn and Encore casinos. However, due to the unthoughtfulness of management on the issues mentioned above, I can not recommend this place unless it is your only hope and you get the room CHEAP!!!! Like $50.00 a night cheap. It was so uncomfortable staying here. No free breakfast or...

My fiancé and I are staying at Siegel Select - Convention Center and have had a rough time. First, we were told while booking over the phone that we would have a bottom floor room and when we arrived we were given a second story room and were told that all the bottom floor rooms had since been taken. We bought their $13 internet package thinking we could connect our laptop, firestick and phones to it and found out it only works for two devices and it is so slow I was unable to upload our vacation pictures to my Google drive. The rooms look nice but the beds and pillows are awful quality. The mattress is made with a top sheet tucked in where the bottom sheet should be so when you sleep it comes untucked. Then you have another top sheet with a super thin comforter and then another top sheet on top of that. Super weird. Plus, the comforter had orange stains like someone spilled pizza on it. The front desk told us they didn't have anymore comforters so the first night we slept with stained bedding. Also, my fiancé uses a c-pap for his sleep apnea and the power was surging all night and his c-pap kept shutting off and on waking him up every time. We told the front desk and they told us we had to unplug all our stuff other than his c-pap. We only had 2 phone chargers and a small battery charger plugged in. We complained more and the maintenance guy replaced the plug in the room and it worked fine after that. The room service lady was very accommodating and brought us a new comforter that the front desk said they didn't have the night before. The second day, our toilet just randomly started gurgling and flooded our bathroom and into the hallway. The front desk lady gave my fiancé a plunger and went to get towels. He plunged the toilet, fixed the chain and cleaned the floor himself while she watched! On top of all of that, the floors are visibly uneven and the doors don't open and close all the way because they rub on the floor where it is buckling. The bathroom door is the worst. The doors that lead into the building are open all the time so anyone can wander in and they told us that if there was no parking in the hotel lot, we should park in the "empty lot" next door where there are signs that we'd be towed.

UPDATE I wrote the previous review on the second evening we were there. We have since finished our stay, talked to management and returned home. That evening I unfolded the comforter that I had mentioned the room service lady brought us only to find out it was actually another mattress pad so we had to sleep with the pizza stain comforter again. We also took showers that evening and the whole experience was really the most awful shower experience I've ever had. Honestly. I started the shower and it got very hot, I adjusted the temperature and hopped in, started shampooing (using the worst shampoo I've ever put in my hair) and was quickly hopping out of the shower with suds in my hair to avoid being burned. I adjusted the temperature again and got back in only to be showering in incredibly cold water a moment later. The water jumped from scalding to freezing with almost no in-between for the remainder of my shower. My finance got in the shower. I don't think he took my warning seriously enough because I quickly heard him garble a noise of dissatisfaction with possibly a bit of panic as he was also quickly burned. This is a bigger deal with him because a large portion of his skin has been burned by chemicals before which left it very sensitive to temperature. He ended up having such a bad time he just let the bath fill with the sometimes hot and sometimes cold water and washed himself in it when it was full enough to do so. When it was time to check out he spoke with management (again) to tell her about our stay and hopefully at least regain some of our money since we couldn't regain our experience. She did not seem at all surprised by our experience and she refused to compensate us in any way. She said she would give our number to the GM but we have yet to...

This is my first review of a hotel .. am giving this place a one star because the employees were friendly even though they were not helpful. (Do you want friendly or helpful, that is the question). I booked this hotel because of the good reviews and the swimming pool looked welcoming. After a long hot drive from Utah with long delays because of lane closures, I finally make it to the wrong Siegel select location. The desk clerk at the wrong location called the right location and was put on hold for ten minutes. I realized I could probably drive there much faster than waiting and hoped it was the right location. Well. It was the right location but I had to wait to find out because the desk person was at lunch and the office was closed. Finally I get a room and she was very nice about explaining that even though the pool looked nice it was not open. We finally carry all our luggage up the stairs along with a baby and broken hip. I try to turn on the desk lamp by the bed I realize it's not plugged in and niether is the clock. I try to plug it in but there is no socket on that wall. I started to laugh. Why bother even putting those items in the room if you can't plug them in? The TV didn't work and the toilet ran all night. It took me hours to fall asleep even though I was exhausted. My daughter wanted to get another room but the office closes at 9pm so we couldn't get anyone to help us. The next day I told the clerk to cancel my reservation on the return trip. She was friendly when she told me I had to go through booking.com since I bought the reservation from them. I said okay but could they please leave a note that I was doing so. Then I went in my car and requested a cancellation. Booking.com said the hotel had 48 hours to cancel. I thought good. I gave them about 55 hours. On the way back from our trip I tried to book another hotel in Vegas. It said I couldn't because I already had a room that night. I called booking.com and after an hour with them was told that my room was cancelled but there was a cancellation fee of more than what my hotel room even cost. I called the hotel and they said they could not hear me and to call back later. I tried to call back later and no answer. So to save yourself some trouble...do not stay here and never make a reservation here. It is too much time (hours on the phone) and money (you have to pay even if you...
