Food: Actually kind of mediocre for such a raved place?! Ramen-Ya on the strip is still better! Tried all three Ramen dishes to see which one was best, but as mentioned, Ramen-Ya is better! Ramen wasn't bad, but being a Las Vegas joint, I was expecting more?! I can get better Ramen 900 miles away at home where I wouldn't expect there to be such great Ramen.
Service: It was surprising to see a raved about place be just a small place in a food court? Not that food of that nature isn't good. It's just that it's definitely not associated with fine-dining. But it explains why the food, the service & the atmosphere were all just mediocre. Service? Your fast-food cashier type of service. Not great. Just quick, emotionless, hurry-up-&-get-your-stuff type of service.
Atmosphere: Mediocre. It's a food court. Was thinking this was going to be a different type of setting, but was surprised. Your small, food-court type of setting. Nothing fancy. And thus, everything...
Read moreAwful experience. After ordering and paying including tip I asked the Afroamerican employee in the cashier to give me a plastic glass so I can fill it with water. He rejected saying they are out of them, that I should ask in the other food stores. By law they should provide water. Every store in the food court is providing those glasses. After I sit at the bar with my dish I can see he had bags with hundreds of those glasses. I asked him about that and he lied saying it’s for employees. Then swearing and yelling he went and gave me one of those glasses in a very bad manner. I asked for the supervisor. The employee was so rude saying if I’m happy now, that I wanted a free drink, etc. This is unacceptable, no customer that sits down for dinner should experience this. I’m a guest staying at the Rio hotel. This makes my experience in the hotel worst. Of course I won’t come back to this place. Same with my coworkers. Supervisor was...
Read moreFriendly staff. I ordered the Shogun Ramen. The broth was tasty and flavorful. I enjoyed the egg and pork.
I wasn’t a big fan of the noodles so I didn’t eat them (I think they have different noodle options based on the dish- so if I went again I would ask for different noodles).
My biggest complaint is that it took a while to order (the cashier wasn’t there so I had to make an account using a QR code) and enter in my credit card information manually. It took a while to create an account and when I finally completed my order the...
