I placed an order at 2:15pm on a Saturday through the app. My order continued getting delayed until I called at 3:15pm (an hour later) and spoke to someone over the phone who stated that THEY RAN OUT OF BREAD and "didn't know what to do." He was "deciding if we should send it chopped up in a bowl or if he should wait until the next set of bread is ready, but that could take 30 minutes or longer." First off, you never called me informing me this. Second off, the delivery driver has been waiting in the store for almost an hour at this point.
I asked for a refund and the person on the phone said no problem, he will cancel the order and refund me. Unfortunately, I could tell something was wrong because the delivery driver continued to call my phone all afternoon asking me why I didn't cancel the order, to which I explained the circumstance to him. Eventually, I had to just hang up on him.
I call the day after, spoke to someone new who said no refund was processed. I asked to speak to the manager and she said "He is busy I can take a phone number and he will call you later if he isn't busy." Naturally no one called me.
I got in contact with corporate who stated that in order to get a refund I would need to get in touch with the store and that they could not do it for me...
I call the store again today (Monday now) and the person I spoke to over the phone stated that they are not able to process my refund and has no idea what to do.
So I spent $60 on an order that I never got and the store is refusing to refund me.
