My pocketbook is happy I didn't try this place sooner but my tummy is not! It is sooo good! My 8.5yr old wanted fish tonight and I remembered this place which we hadn't tried yet. He doesn't usually like food trucks and was grumpy when we pulled up. He turned that attitude right around to excitement when he saw the menu had his favorites - fish, ribs, and baked beans! During our short wait, he kept complaining how starving he was from smelling the food being cooked up. When we got home, I can honestly say, I have never seen my usually very picky child tear into his food so quickly and devoured all he could. And I agree it is so good! He got catfish, beans, and fries. I ordered catfish, beans, and fried okra. We split a half side of ribs - huge, tender, fall off the bone ribs! The catfish remained deliciously and perfectly crunchy despite our 20 minute drive home. Pricing is more than reasonable for all of the food you get. We easily have lunch and supper for tomorrow if we don't devour the rest as a midnight snack. I'm too full to try the banana pudding we got as dessert but I have no doubt it is to die for as well. My one and only complaint is I wish the catfish came with a slice or two of lemon but it was good with just the hot sauce. I forgot to ask if they had any lemon so that is on me. I'm glad they aren't located directly in my town otherwise my son would make me go broke eating here every day! The boy who took my order was a sweetheart and so was Mr. Ray. All I can is WOW!! The portions are massive and so reasonably priced! Honestly surprised by the amount of food you get for these prices!

My toddlers and I shared a 6 piece chicken tender meal and had okra as our side. The strips themselves are massive. We could have shared the three piece with no problem, but this way we have lunch tomorrow too 🥰 The chicken itself was such a good quality, tender and juicy! The breading was the perfect texture, perfectly crispy and had the BEST flavor! It does have a slight spice to it so if you’re sensitive I’d get a tame sauce for dipping. The okra was DELICIOUS and crispy as well! I get fried okra a lot, and I can say without a doubt this was the best okra I’ve had. It wasn’t plain and boring like other places.

My husband had the pulled pork sandwich also with okra. The sandwich was also massive and full of pork! It genuinely had like three times the pulled pork than other restaurants. The pork had a great smoke flavor and was nice and juicy as well. Yes, I tried some of it, I’m pregnant, don’t judge me! 😂

We also ordered a large side of Mac and cheese because our toddlers are obsessed. Again, 10/10. Absolutely wonderful Mac and cheese. The noodles weren’t soggy and it wasn’t dry!
